I have been a part-time volunteer and paid staff for KPC and Family Connections for 5 years. I have always found the KPC Respite Center warm and inviting for all those that enter through its doors. We offer part-time respite child care for children aged 0 - 6 years and their siblings as appropriate for parents dealing with real-live situations that may not be appropriate for their children to attend or witness. The KPC center responds to all emergencies within 30 minutes of a person calling the after hours phone number. KPC has alligned with the city owned hospital to help educate others of the Shaken Baby Syndrome.
