We have attended several classes with our puppy and have had great experiences at all of them. The trainers are very nice and not "judgy". (But that doesn't mean they are going to let you slack off. They will let you know when you may need to put in more effort but will do so in a very nice manner.) They welcome any questions you have and are good about adjusting to your dog's needs. Their classes not only train the standard obedience commands, but also share additional ways to help keep your dog safe in unexpected situations. The instructors seem to really want to help you do the best job raising a well-behaved and well-adjusted dog. We have had great training experiences here and our dog is always happy and tired after class. I highly recommend ABRT for anyone who has a new puppy or rescue. If you are willing to put in the effort, I believe you will come away with a great dog and a wonderful relationship with them.

My husband and I have been involved with 616 for 3 years. We have seen the impact their organization has had on numerous police officers. Multiple time while riding on our bikes (with Shield 616 jersys on) we have had police officers talk to us about their appreciation for the vests they have received from Shield 616. The rides we have done with them have been great experiences with super support. Thanks for the memories!

AOAF is focused on long term support for children who lost their first responder or military parent. They help them stay engaged in activities that help them stay on track. They support them all the way through high school instead of just supporting them one time. They post their audit on their website and are very transparent about how they use our donations.

Life Network is an absolute blessing to the Colorado Springs community. My volunteer shifts on Monday and Friday afternoons are the highlight of my week!

Being a volunteer with Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. This work is more than service, it is purpose. It is a calling to stand with survivors, honor their stories, and help create a world where no one feels alone in their pain. Survivors carry so much weight! Fear, shame, grief, and sometimes silence that lasted years. Being able to hold space for someone as they open their heart is something I don’t take lightly. Supporting others reminds me that healing is not linear, but it is possible. By helping survivors feel seen and heard, I am also reclaiming pieces of myself. BTSADV isn’t just an organization, it’s a family. Every volunteer is driven by empathy, courage, and a shared commitment to breaking cycles of abuse and creating hope. Volunteering with BTSADV has helped me grow, heal, and connect on a level I never expected. I am honored to be part of this mission 💜💜💜

The weekend retreat at RMA was a huge blessing for our family! It provided a great way to connect with other families. The staff was incredibly welcoming; they were super involved even during down time. We loved the campfires & dance party! Our son is already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for creating such a special place to get away for the weekend.

I received a fake letter from my child I was sponsoring. The letter was not from her. The letter I did receive from her did not state at all any information that the fake letter had told me. When we used ChatGPT to translate the letter from French into English, we were really surprised! This organization used to have a good reputation. But I have seen the last six months it has not.

They set up a booth on the only road to exit our middle school, so it's busy at pickup!...and they bring donuts. Kids are darting in front of cars to get donuts. They are literally teaching it's ok to take candy from strangers. on a busy road. ...dangerous! AND they've been asked to stop this at another nearby school, so they should know better..but apparently it's a winning tactic. Some of the donuts are seriously the size of a frisbee. This is nutzo behaviour. It's luring and predatory. I've let the cops know, this is not acceptable.

The Exodus Road is the real thing. I've seen firsthand first as a supporter, then as a board member, and now as a staff member that this nonprofit has a strong commitment to doing the real, gritty work of investigation and intervention in partnership with law enforcement. They commit long term to supporting survivors of human trafficking on the challenging road to healing, and they are passionate about preventing exploitation before it ever begins through tailored community awareness and education programming. The Exodus Road is committed to transparent reporting and never inflates nor exaggerates their impact or efforts. Truly an honor to work alongside this committed and efficacious organization!

Same as the last person stated......Is this a professional organization really providing assistance to veterans or it’s just another dog and pony show saying they support veterans?<br><br>I was told someone would reach back out to me about my situation and then holiday break happened, still no response from Marsha Unruh the program director. <br><br>"We don’t help with gas or groceries, but I will send some referrals via our network of care from agencies that do that (check your spam/junk folder). If you are needing more than that assistance, please let me know."<br><br>I let her know that I still need assistance and reply:<br>"Well, if you are requesting assistance, you should probably tell me what bills you are looking to pay; we don’t offer blanket financial assistance, so I can’t say whether or not we can help you."<br><br>Sent her specifics and have not heard back, even followed up in email and nothing.......if you aren't dying or your haven't lost your home yet, don't bother......<br>

We were super excited and could hardly wait to get started once we got the approval. Then everything changed. In order to make my payment of $480 I had to create a paypal account. I had fraudulent issues with paypal several years ago so I was reluctant but figured this would be different so I went ahead. Six days later I had fraudulent charges from paypal on my cc account saying I had purchased $517 worth of bitcoins, which I did not purchase. I called the main office to complain and was told that they use paypal as their creditor. That alone is suspicious. In the beginning when I had called the office their recording says your phone call will be returned within 48 hours but it wasn't so I called again and during that message I stated this was my second time to call, would someone please return my call like the recording states they will but no one did. I ended up having to call a third time to speak with anyone. I completely understand that the orthodontist would be busy during the Summer months so it could take a little while before my child could be seen to begin the process but to be expected to pay up front with no information whatsoever and just left waiting for a much as 60 days is unreasonable. When I expressed my concerns about this I was treated as a charity case. The only thing I asked for was the assurance that it was legit. I do not received any type of government funding whatsoever. I work. I am a single income, single parent but was talked to and treated as if I am a beggar because I applied for this scholarship. I was also shamed for questioning the fact that I wanted to confirm the legitimacy of the program. Who pays $480 up front with zero information and then told you'll be contacted in 60 days if they decide to see you?! If I waited for 60 days and then found out at the last minute it wasn't legit or that we wouldn't be seen I had nothing to go on about being refunded except her word and I do not know her. The fraudulent bitcoin charges was the last straw! I asked to be refunded while the payment was still new enough that if she refused I could depend on my cc company to enforce it. After 60 days the cc company would not enforce it. It's a crying shame the program actually works like this. According to the website it appears some people have had good experiences but then again where are the reviews? I question everything about this program!

Worst organization I have come across. They have double standards and move children from home to homes without the consideration of the well being of the children. Legal action should be taken against this organization and should be investigated,

Well it's great to know that there is some individuals that can answer questions about addiction,for the people with lil to no clue how it feels, are if they are helping loved ones are hurting them that are battling addiction. Are to know theres a place after incarceration they can go two and stay sober and start rebuilding there life. <br>

Veterans PATH has filled a void for me that has lead me to a better quality of life through the Accelerated Mind Performance, AMP six-week course. As a retired ARMY Veteran of 30 years, I first started AMP in 2022 and have attended again in 2023 to help me maintain my practice. I am most grateful to Veterans PATH for this program that is available free to any woman Veteran. Specifically, AMP has provided me with an increased quality of life through focusing on turning off my sympathetic nervous system/flight flight mode, and using my parasympathetic nervous system/rest and relax mode as I am always in a vigilant state and cannot let my guard down for over 30 years. The AMP facilitators, chiefly Kathy and Kim, demonstrate and explain the importance of this training along with support videos from the VetsPath web site. Through these two women Veteran facilitators training and calm and reassuring demeanors, it has made me more calm, peaceful and at ease in order to practice. They always close each session’s practice with encouragement and peace, giving me a feeling of security and a safe place to practice, which is most important as I live alone. These Outstanding Women Veteran Leaders of AMP have helped me stay alive through this practice as well as through the BRAVE retreat that I attended in 2022, which they were also facilitators. Without these programs offered free to women Veterans, many more suicides and self harm through drugs and alcohol use will continue to occur. Veterans Path is a literal Lifesaver with facilitators like Kathy and Kim that are there for “YOU”, not only through these programs, but also through phone and email follow up. Through the leadership of Veteran’s PATH and these life saving AMP facilitators, women Veteran lives have been saved, quality of life has increased, and lasting friends have been made. This Veteran’s Organization is a paragon for other Veteran Organizations to emulate, especially for women Veterans. To those that support Veterans PATH, know that your funding assistance is and has saved many women Veterans lives; it has helped save mine!!! <br> <br>Forever grateful, <br>Gina <br> <br>

I hear the radio ads for FoodforOrphans incessantly on right wing radio. My question is "What happened to Kin"" the boy whose story is the focus of the ads? Is he out of the garbage pile now or is he still there and serving as a hook for donations? It also puts the hair up on the back of my neck when I go to the website and there is very little actual info.. it's all about donate, donate donate. Where is the link to the financials? Where is the disclosure of all the paid employees and their relationship to Mr. VanDyke? And if this is a "Christian" group, exactly what flavor or Christian? That's a very broad spectrum. All this would be information that I would expect a reputable charity to proactively provide.

I checked this place out at a fundraiser, what a wonderful non profit! Rescuing animals and veterans all at once! The animals are all in fantastic condition and the place is ran by a wonderful woman who's husband gave everything for this country. This country needs more people like the lady running this non profit and more non profits like it!

I personally find this site to be accurate except when answering questions about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and whether or not we receive power through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. However, I refuse to debate them in this simple review, but I would suggest that each person who has questions about the Holy Spirit or any other question to search the scriptures and ask God to provide the true answer. Got Questions is an excellent guide that is a good source for each person helping one to find the true answer from God and His Holy Spirit…

Orphans Tree has been and continues to be a very important part of my life and in the lives of so many. For years, this organization has been instrumentally serving those whose hearts never knew they needed it. Orphans Tree changes the lives of not only the staff, children and young adults, but also the lives of common volunteers like me who partner with them. Orphans Tree is one of the very reasons that I've grown so much as a Christian. Learning to speak in love doesn't require a voice. It doesn't require you to know the native tongue. It requires love in action. Orphans Tree epitomizes the very example of love. Offering a safe space, a trustworthy staff, life-building programs, and integrating many visitors that come from miles away, ones who believe in the work of this ministry, is why so many Orphans Tree "grads" are so successful today. With the world hurting in so many ways right now, it brings comfort to know that this organization provides on-going support, guidance, prayer and love to all these young adults and families. I am honored to be a volunteer for Orphans Tree and I look forward to many future trips to continue building relationships with those who have become like family to me and to embrace the opportunity to make build new ones.

With over 25 years as a First Responder, the cumulative effects of PTSD were getting to me. Dr. Crampton was easy to talk with, compassionate and available when I needed help. I can say that he not only helped me with my issues that I was struggling with, he improved my family relationships and my outlook on life. I can’t thank and recommend SC4i enough.

I started attending DBSA-CS support groups soon after I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder at 17. I still have friends I made in those early meetings. I stopped going for many years. After being hospitalized after a suicide attempt, I was reminded about this excellent organization. I started attending regularly and I now facilitate groups and volunteer for DBSA-CS. This group of people have saved my life and I am so thankful and I want to pay it forward.<br>Jeff Venable

Colorado canine advocates are a local no-profit organization who is dedicated to educating the public on puppy mills and the end of dog suffering. Puppy mills are puppy farms that are used as commercial dog breeding that focused on quick breeding and poor conditions.

One of the biggest secrets of nature is that the experience of the baby in the womb can make a big difference in the brain architecture and nervous system of this new beautiful being. APPPAH shares education for birth practitioners, psychologists, social workers and families how they can uncover the beauty of this period of "welcome to the world" for our babies being born. We are working very hard to bring to light this ancient knowledge from around the world. <br>Understanding and sharing this information is critical for changing the world to be a more peaceful, loving place.<br>

I had the great privilege of working a 2 month internship with Partners in Housing (PIH). During my time, I was able to see first hand all the wonderful support this organization provides to families. Partners are given financial advice, career counseling, and individual case management during their 1 year in the program. This is a place that helps people go from surviving, to truly living. Most of the individuals that complete the program are able to successfully get sustainable housing upon exiting. I'm so thankful for my opportunity with PIH, and hope to continue providing support any way I can.
