Mission: Pathways is where the mentally ill serve each other. Pathways serves the mentally ill with a program using mentally ill staffers and a board that has a majority of Mental health consumers as directors. The people who urging you to take your medication are taking theirs. Our goal is to do as much as possible for the mentally ill as time and resources permit.
Programs:
Pathways Drop-In Center, Inc., is mental-health consumer run agency where the members are served by their peers. All the staff have serious and persistent mental-illness or have significant others such as family members, who do. It provides basic human services delivered by people with a unique insight into what the members being served are experiencing.
Pathways Drop-In Center, Inc., is a program that does provide basic services such as food (19,733 meals), clothing, hygiene (1,697 showers), a place to rest, phone access, laundry access (1,655 loads), Internet access, mailing addresses, recreation, socialization, linkage to other services, and promotes recovery. All our services are free, except our limited housing were we charge one third of the residents disability check (usually about $229 a month). This includes utilities (air conditioning) and broadband Internet. Pathways standard of care is that the mentally ill have the same things in life as other Americans.
