I first met Harold from the Love Foundation when conversing with him for a podcast episode. What I heard and felt in that moment was an individual who really walks his talk, a role-model that truly embodies unconditional love and grace. Of the hundreds, if not thousands of nonprofit organizations I have connected with over the past 50 years, The Love Foundation stands out for several significant reasons. First of all, every individual I have met who holds an official or volunteer position with the organization beautifully expresses unconditional love which is the primary focus. That has also been true in the three substantial Facebook communities the foundation provides for even greater opportunities for cooperation and collaboration: Loving Earth, Inspiring Unconditional Love, and Global Love Day. My primary partner and I have established a couple of nonprofits including Planet Blessed which we were inspired to create to help individuals, organizations, and communities be better able to cope with the global pandemic. After publishing our initial book Bless the Mess Mindful Sur-Thrival Guidebook that provided 53 mindfulness exercises, affirmations, and featured resources to help readers enhance their positive mental attitudes, creative problem solving capabilities, and manage their emotions, we were introduced to The Love Foundation. We were amazed at the depth and breadth of the programs and resources they provide.
As we discovered how many powerful and beautiful positive, uplifting, and inspiring messages The Love Foundation has shared in its more than 20 year history of substantial service, we asked for permission to use a few of Harold W. Becker's quotes to supplement the daily Mindful Blessisms for Love, Relationships, and Forgiveness we were planning to publish each day in February 2022. We were gratefully surprised when they not only granted the permission we had sought, but actually went far above and beyond by providing an inventory of relevant quotes AND images that incorporated the quotes for us to share as supplemental resources in our daily newsletters and social media posts.
Then, we were thrilled when they invited us to share our positive uplifting content every day on all 3 of their Facebook community groups. Our evolving relationship with the foundation means I need to select a few of the listed roles. For example, as a member of the general public and a professional with expertise in the field, I have been blessed to serve as a donor, a client served, and more recently as a volunteer.
In addition to interacting with hundreds of nonprofits, I have also helped establish, manage, staff, fund raise, facilitate cocreative visioning and strategic planning, and operate scores of NPOs and have helped generate millions of dollars in grants, donations, and sponsorships. The only other NPO I have ever worked with that comes close to how outstanding The Love Foundation is in every meaningful way would be the Institute of HeartMath which also far exceeds expectations. Living in a world of supreme civilization and high technology, we are conveyed to think in terms of sex, violence and chaos. Best-sellers need these ingredients. But there are alternatives to this rule giving us the possibility of choosing a way of being in love, peace and harmony. For this reason I would like to consecrate some words to the thinking of Harold W. Becker.
President of the non-profit organisation “The Love Foundation” in Florida which was established in 2000, Harold W. Becker is an internationally known and experienced speaker, author of several books. Holder of an MBA of the University of Florida, he has a consulting and multimedia company “Internal Insights”, created in 1990. He devotes much of his spare time with cancer patients and their families. In 2004, he launched the first Global Love Day for May 1, an international celebration of humanity with an art, essay and poetry invitational (www.thelovefoundation.com).
“Unconditional Love, an Unlimited Way of Being”, White Fire Publishers, 2007, of Harold W. Becker transmits us an existential and love experience. Every page of this surprising book is shining with philosophical inspiration. We can compare it to a sky with thousands of sapphires illuminating earth without limits. It is difficult to categorize this wonderful book in a scientific field, because it is belonging to a way of being leading us to the highest level of awareness. The first condition to attain this level is to free oneself from the power of fear, the most motivating power we have ever experienced… For many, life is a journey of fear. We have to make “tabula rasa” from our restrictive conditionings. Self-knowledge can help us to let go our educational and social constraints and to turn us to the way of real freedom, a way of being high in awareness.
“Unconditional Love, an Unlimited Way of Being” is a philosophical-educational writing attributing much attention to the principle of inspiration. It is full of wisdom with references to the great philosophers, thinkers and psychoanalysts. I have known about The Love Foundation since working with them in 2010 creating a virtual Global Love Day celebration in the virtual world of Second Life that was attended by several hundred individuals from across the globe. The dedicated members of the board of directors and country coordinators under the leadership of Harold W. Becker have continued to promote and encourage people all over the world to show unconditional love to all of humanity no matter their creed, race, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality. I am especially impressed by their "Love Begins With Me" film project as well as the books authored by Harold Becker.

Once upon a time, I used to work for John. He was a wonderful boss and turned into a mentor for me, both professionally and energetically. For my birthday one year, John and Harold gifted me a copy of "Unconditional Love: The Unlimited Way of Being". I didn't read it immediately, I will admit, but I always kept that book, through a couple of moves. A few years back, I was in the aftermath of a break up of a destructive relationship, and the loss of a job (that admittedly was causing me stress and anxiety). I picked up the book and began reading. It was a catalyst for me to change my approach to life. I have since become a Reiki Master-Teacher and found myself in a fantastic job for a company that is all about creating experiences (museum exhibits and other interior interactive environments). I should also add that it was John's letter of recommendation that made my current boss decide to hire me (Thank you, John). I am thriving energetically and professionally.
The work done by the Love Foundation is an inspiration for me to view the world through the lens of love. The world is dark and full of terrors, and I can't fix it all. However, I can love it unconditionally. It is surprising how much people grow when you love them anyways. John and Harold have definitely helped shape the trajectory of my life. I am very grateful for them.
My life has been guided by an underlying virtue graciously bestowed upon me at birth by the Divine. This virtue, “Love is the essence of Life”, has been my rudder as I navigate through life. One might think of Love as the energy underlying my true essence. As the wise philosopher Plato so eloquently states, “The only true Love is the Divine One, the unconditional Love which inter-connects every single thing and which connects everything to itself in any possible direction with undeniable and limitless beauty.” I respect and appreciate my gifts, talents, calling and personality. As I accept myself, my weaknesses along with my strengths, it follows that I Love myself unconditionally. Not only does my body overflow with unconditional Love but it is this Love that leads directly to my life purpose which I passionately live. Armed with an endless supply of unconditional Love to share with the world as well as with my life purpose ‘to make or create positive impact, no matter the magnitude, upon all those with whom I come in contact through whatever medium’; I undauntingly embarked on my life-time journey of sharing and spreading Love with the intent to effect world-wide peace one relationship at a time. The passion with which I live my life purpose created a snowball effect of similarly Love-minded people, creating a veritable Army of Love, all of whom speak the universal language of Love. It was through this Army of Love that I encountered The Love Foundation, a non-profit body of like-minded souls committed to inspiring people to Love unconditionally.
It has been an honour to collaborate with The Love Foundation, an international resource promoting an awareness and sharing of unconditional Love. I am extremely honoured and grateful that The Love Foundation saw fit to recently bestow upon me the designation of Love Ambassador.
I have not actually met the Founder of The Love Foundation, Harold W. Becker, in person; however, the shared language of Love and common pursuit of unconditional Love has created a soul connection between the two of us such that I truthfully feel I have known him for years. Connecting with John and Harold and learning about The Love Foundation created a major shift in my thinking. I first met Harold when he graciously agreed to be interviewed for my podcast. Since then, we have had many opportunities to talk about love, life, and contribution. I have always believed in unconditional love and oneness but did not see it in action in my everyday life. Harold has generously shared his time and expertise for the cause of peace. Last year he kindly authored a chapter for my book, "Handbook of Research: Examining Peacebuilding in the Digital Age. His chapter was entitled "Understanding Our Human Potential of Universal Love and Peace" and is available from IGI Global. At the same time, he kindly reviewed several articles in the same publication to encourage and improve the work of other peace authors. Harold has joined me as a pioneer member of Worldwide Peace Organization (wwpo.org), for which I am a founder.
I met Harold and John over 10 years ago at a public function and I was immediately resonated with them and the whole idea of the Love Foundation. At the time I thought of it as a nice idea. Today, I cannot imagine what could be more important than promoting love in a time when fear and hate have taken the center stage in our country. Destiny & love - that's how I met the founders of this wonderful and unique foundation! The big, beautiful universe we live in connects each of us and The Love Foundation (TLF) has made it their mission to remind us how closely everything is truly linked. Through the years, they've established a global outreach through unique individuals who naturally also have chosen a life path of sharing all that unconditional love encompasses.
My experience has been one of open arms and hearts from all those associated with the organization. There is such strong support and compassion through each program and each message- it has reminded ME of the natural state of being we are all born with: Within Love.

It is often the highlight of my day to receive the wonderfully uplifting messages of Love from The Love Foundation. These have inspired me to such an extent that, as well as sharing them daily online at Kindspring.org, I have begun hosting an annual 21 day Global Love Day challenge online on the run up to Global Love Day May 1st with Harold’s inspirational messages playing an essential part. I am a deep listening practitioner. I believe that, at the Essence, our sole purpose is to practice unconditional Love. I have the privilege of hearing the stories of many people and helping them recognize the presence of Love in their world and its imperative nature. In this work one needs support personally, as it can be a lonely journey. I have found the existence of The Love Foundation inspirational by that very fact alone. However the true dynamic for me has come from the daily observations which Harold places on the website. I have studied the scriptures and writings of five major religions over many years and have read widely the works of mystics and philosophers. It is however only in the wisdom and Harold's Love oriented daily postings that I have found constant inspiration. The Love Foundation has always guided me to my true being and embracing the unconditional love I have for myself and humanity. My very first experience with The Love Foundation was when I came across Harold W. Becker on youtube. I was searching through youtube in December 2010 looking for like hearted people who, like me had a truth or vision to share about oneness & unconditional love & I stumbled upon Harold W Becker & Philip Snow discussing Unconditional Love.
I remember thinking to myself back then, " Omg, This guy Harold is my mouthpiece, he speaks of Unconditional Love in the same way as I do, just in a different way! " I think I was 30 minutes into the video before I emailed Harold and invited him & Philip to join the GroupOf1. At this point I had no knowledge of The Love Foundation, it's information & it's programmes until getting to know Harold & Philip a little bit better. it soon became very apparent to me of their involvement in this fantastic non profit organization.
At this time I was and I still am to date, the creator of the GroupOf1 which is an online platform based in the UK which I created for me and others to connect with others locally & globally.
Since 2011 the GroupOf1 has been working in practical collaboration with The Love Foundation, inspiring people to love unconditionally,and in Dec 2015 I became the TLF UK Coordinator.

Global Love Day
It was several years back that I was invited to attend and participate in what would be my first global love day experience. I remember it as if it were happening at this moment. It was indeed a celebration of love. This one event impacted me so deeply that I chose to make sure that Global Love Day would continue in the greater Seattle. It has expanded and grown in ways that I have only dreamed possible. We are now giving out free hugs and anonymous love letters reminding people that love is an option versus fear, and that we are the deciding factor. So often in life it is easy to misplace our energy, and give our power to other people when in fact it is squarely placed within each decision that we make. Being an integral part of Global Love Day has reminded me every day I have a choice to choose love over fear. Join in the revolution that is changing the world one hug at a time.

When I left my homeland in the United States to accept a college teaching position in Switzerland I was quite alone. Every family member and each friend I knew and loved remained behind. As I settled in a small village high in the snowy Alps I had a strong sense of being disconnected from love. Shortly after having this realisation I miraculously found The Love Foundation online. Reading about unconditional love that is available everywhere at any time was a strong comfort. I decided to align myself with the people in this organisation whose words reached out across the miles to assure me that I was loved and not alone. They invited me to become a representative for Switzerland. I remember the happiness that flooded my heart as I happily said, "Yes!"
The first Global Love Day celebration in my new role meant so much to me. I gathered my students and posed for a photo sending greetings to all of the other Unconditional Lovers across the world. My students were so happy and we celebrated all day. Over the next few years our celebration grew and in 2013 our college yearbook staff dedicated 2 pages in our yearbook to Global Love Day. In our group photo were students from 27 nations!
In 2014 I traveled back to the US to meet with two of the founders of The Love Foundation, John Goltz and Harold Becker. In this amazing meeting I knew that this organisation was created with deep integrity and pureness of spirit. I am more committed to The Love Foundation than ever!
Unconditional Love. What does that really mean? It's one of those larger than life phrases like "World Peace" that sounds great, but the concept is so large and all encompassing that as an individual I always felt that it was not something that I could impact in any meaningful way. Since meeting Harold and John and learning more about the Love Foundation, I have come to realize that it's actually the exact opposite. One person does make a difference and that difference has rippling effects that are very far reaching.
I had experienced a life long relationship struggle with my mother that I didn't realize was impacting every facet of my life. Through a series of what I can only call questioning exercises with Harold & John's guidance, I was able to release what felt like a mac- truck load of ugly baggage. To say that I felt like a new person would be an understatement and miraculously over the next few weeks, my mother began to change the way she interacted with me as well. I am able to look at her with love and without judgement, knowing that she has her own inner struggles that don't have to impact me. My entire family has noticed the difference in me - not only in relation to my mother, but life in general. I'm more calm and peaceful. I'm not perfect and I still get irritated at times, but knowing that my inner peace and love can effect everyone that I come in contact with helps to keep me grounded. Feeling that release and relief is something that I will not forget. It's a life changing, liberating feeling that I wish everyone could experience.Once I really understood that unconditional love is not some abstract idea but is something you can personally experience, I saw how easy it was to change my life and the lives around me for the better. I have been privileged to add my love and light to TLF from its conception to its fruition as a viable global entity. The Love Foundation is a coalition of people who believe that, with love, we can go into the recesses of our shared history. We can with awareness, bring healing. It’s not all foo-foo New Agey goobledygook. It’s the very real idea that Love is stronger than being damned; and the courage to say so out loud, the courage to live that truth, can change the world.
I visited Texas in May 2013 for a few days with my grandparents and quickly realized that during my visit I would be: “Damn it, Beth!” That was my name for four days. I suddenly grasped a glimpse of what my mom’s childhood and life must have been like. She grew up as: “Damn it, Beth!” I think she kind of just learned to live with the curse of being so often damned. It was so much a part of her story, it wasn’t even separated from herself. It gave her edges. She was an incredibly loving woman, with very defined edges.
We met John and Harold of the Love Foundation in 2011. They interviewed five real estate agents, then chose her. Over the next few years their relationship developed into something more like best friend/sibling connection. I think they respected her witty, fiery spunk, and warmness. She was drawn to the lack of damnation in them. They live in love, in awareness, and with healing purpose. Her respect for them allowed them to ask questions, and venture into so many areas of her heart and life that no one was allowed to ask about, not even me.
Her mother fell in Feb 2014 and she found herself in the peculiar position of caregiver and decision maker. How do you act lovingly towards someone you feel never really loved you? How do you let go and forgive being damned your whole life? I think sometimes you need someone to lovingly and boldly question your assumptions, to walk into the recesses of your personal history and help you haul things out too heavy to lift on your own. Through our experiences with The Love Foundation, and through one very real, very intense, and very catalytic encounter with raw loving honesty, I watched my mom let go of being damned. It is, to date, one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I’ve witnessed an inner transformation. That is what The Love Foundation does- teaches us that strength is the ability to give ourselves what we need to heal and community can help us do it.
I was pleasantly surprised over 4 years ago when I was told that The Love Foundation (TLF) had listed me on their website as one of their Love Ambassadors from around the world. I felt very honored to be recognized as such and since that time my organization, La Reserva Forest Foundation, and myself personally have collaborated on many projects and events like Global Love Day and the video interview series, "Love Begins With Me".
TLF fills a great need in this world, promoting the importance of "unconditional love". Their founder, Harold Becker, is a living example of this kind of love and welcomes people from all around the world to celebrate and live unconditional love in their daily lives.
I am eternally grateful to TLF for the great work they are doing and the hope they continue to spread like seeds to everyone everywhere.
I have no words that can truly express Love Foundation's positive influence in my life. I have experienced nothing but unconditional LOVE from Harold and John on every and ALL occasions of my life. I am GRATEFUL for them and for ALL that they do for humanity. The Love Foundation is a self-less foundation, helping others BE, LOVE and ACCEPT oneself, just the way they are. I can truly say I am the person that I am; a confident, loving, honest human being because of the Love Foundation's positive influence in my life. I believe each and every human being should know about the Love Foundation and be a part of it. War filled world needs more of LOVE, and the Love Foundation provide just that.
At the age of 12, which is now 57 years ago, I could see that people didn't love one another enough, and I decided to "spend the rest of my life sorting that out" - quite an ambition for a 12yr old! I've done much in the intervening years but a few years ago I was looking for a group that would enable me finally to fulfil my as yet unfulfilled goal. I came across The Love Foundation and pitched in as a volunteer, effectively enough that I was offered a place on the board 3 years ago where I've been ever since. Thankfully I've found The Love Foundation to be as pure a vehicle for inspiring people to love unconditionally as I could ever wish to find, not only among the board members but also among the vast number of people who are engaging with the organisation in one way or another, as Love Ambassadors, Country Coordinators and the great many who post their own messages of love to The Love Foundation's numerous social media pages. It just doesn't get any better than this!
While searching the internet for ways to share unconditional love, I came across The Love Foundation's website. When I read TLF's mission and saw their global impact, I was filled with joy because I had finally found an organization that actively embodies the Aloha spirit. To my pleasant surprise, Harold promptly responded to my elated e-mail and he was incredibly warm and welcoming. The timing was impeccable because shortly after our first contact, we were able to get Global Love Day officially recognized on Maui. Since then, Harold, John, and TLF have inspired me personally and professionally. They have helped me stay true to the mission and have lovingly nudged me when I appear to be deviating from being my best self. In just a few short months, I feel like I have been embraced by a family who shares in the mission of spreading Aloha. I'm excited to continue to be apart of this family and help it grow exponentially!
Choose to love...
It may be easy to look around our world today and see the appearance of chaos, difficulty and strife. Yet, when we come from an open heart, we can also see our opportunity to love all things into balance, joy, harmony and peace. This planet does not need more visions of desperation, fear, doubt and hate - it requires an abundance of love, especially unconditional love, to heal and restore the beauty contained in every moment. This becomes the easier path once we take the first step and begin to share our love.
When we bring unconditional love back into our personal, professional, community and family lives, we begin the journey of restoring wholeness and happiness to our planetary adventure. Of course it takes determined effort on our part as the old ways of being are quick to return in our mind. However, this effort to love is rewarded with a new perspective on everything and all life benefits as a result.
I have been an Ambassador for The Love Foundation for the past 4 years. Although I feel I can do more, it was not always physically possible. I started to write and share what I wrote and I am happy to see that people really take notice of this.
For me Unconditional Love is a lifestyle, my pillar and courage, given to me on a daily basis by my Creator. Things around us in all parts of the world are getting more and more depressing and evil, and to be able to combat this from where we are can only be done by sharing love, and by doing so Unconditionally.....
The day I found Unconditional Love, my life's journey was deeply enhanced, and forever changed! I found that which I could not put into words. Love without condition.... that was it! These words, this Way Of Being, this was the answer! My life then became a living expression of what was truly in my heart. This is how I knew how to be, it fit! Harold, you and your team of volunteers, and boards members, truly helped save my life. As when I found you, I was only a few weeks sober, after 20 years of alcoholism. Your Love, saved my spirit. Harold then asked me to be the volunteer Ambassador to Idaho!! Seriously?! Wow.. YES, Harold! I was then able to help make May 1st, Global Love Day, become an officially recognized Holiday in the State of Idaho! What an honor to be a part of something so much larger than myself. I am forever grateful to The Love Foundation for all that they are, all that they do, and all that they are! I love you Harold, John, and Tam!

I first came in contact with the president and co-founder of The Love Foundation, Harold W. Becker, in 2006 after discovering the website online. After our initial phone conversation and learning more about this nonprofit’s background and purpose, I decided to become involved as a volunteer and subsequently a board member. The Love Foundation has became an integral part of my life and I have come to adopt its mission of “Inspiring people to love unconditionally” as my own personal motto for living. I have met many wonderful people around the world through my work with The Love Foundation; some of which I now consider very close friends. Anyone who has ever believed that love has the power to change the world will feel right at home in this organization.
Where to begin...
The beautiful beings at The Love Foundation understand like few in the movement from an experience of life as one of fear to one of love, that unless our focus is to change the foundation of our civilization from one of fear to love, no amount of deck chair rearranging will allow us to have the experience of love we all so desperately want, seek and need. They have remembered to do loving things you must fist BE LOVE.
I speak from experience as I have my own organization called the Just LOVE Movement and what I have found is that so many well meaning groups and individuals have lost sight of the fact that unless the foundation of our collective being is changed nothing else will; be it an end to war, a new economy, ending violence in entertainment, healing the damage we have done to the environment, etc. And this is not a prophecy, it is only taking a look back to see that time and again no matter the new philosophy, government, science, religion, we end with our collective ship sinking, because it is the same faulty foundation we have built our new world upon.
I thank with all my soul and love, the unbelievable folks at The Love Foundation for giving me a place of kinship, where I do not feel so much like a lone voice crying out from the infinite void.

The Just LOVE Movement
As a person who has always known that love was the way to heal all wounds, I have found that since learning about The Love Foundation years ago and subsequently becoming a Love Ambassador for The Love Foundation has validated this for me. I'm happy to call Harold W. Becker and John T. Goltz my friends and I share their vision for global love. Together we will be the change. This wonderful Nonprofit organization has done so much already to spread the message of global love and I know there's much more to come. It's heart warming to see so many people around the world contributing to this cause and giving freely of their time. Loving The Love Foundation!
I met the President and Vice President of TLF prior to the foundation being birthed … well over 15 years ago. It was an idea. A tiny thought with huge potential that could assist in supporting higher conscious on a planet not yet knowing they were starving for what TLF could offer… or could become.
I stood up, took a step forward to “walk my talk”, and volunteered for the first couple of years. I then accepted a board position thereafter. I have been with them from the beginning and have always experienced a tremendous amount of integrity and love on such a level that most organizations could only dream of. (... and, I have worked and volunteered for several non-profits.)
This organization has brought me gifts like no other… that living my truth is valid and important, that loving unconditionally is the key to our existence, and to receive it is just as important as to give it. It has brought me to know that this organization is part of my life’s purpose … and that together, through love, we all can make a difference on this blue orb we call home.
For anyone looking to be a part of an organization that lives its truth through love, peace and the pure integrity of what it means to be connected… you may have just found your home.
It has changed my life.
As a founding board member of TLF, my life is intricately entwined and reflected in this organization. It has made me a better person simply because the vision “to inspire people to love unconditionally” has become part of my personal vision as well. The founder, Harold Becker, is a tremendous visionary and leader and has remained true to all that this organization stands for. I marvel at how people are moved and changed through the mission and actions of TLF. When the core elements of TLF are truly engaged, there is a tremendous impact on society on the whole. TLF is helping people build a more peaceful and joy-filled world.
