The Epilepsy Association has been our community partner for many years and the work they have been doing in the Epilepsy community of Central Florida is exemplary.

All the staff and Dr's have been very, very good to me, and whenever I need them, they are always there. I'm just thankful for them. The case managers are very caring and understanding about my needs.
I was a patient of the Epilepsy Association since 2010. They are very competent and understanding. The staff is knowledgeable and ensures that each person with epilepsy is taken care of. I stopped today by the Epilepsy Association to say Hi to Pachi.

My husband has been going to the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida Inc for over 30 years. They have really helped us to learn and were very attentive to setting up the doctors appointments and making sure he has his medication. My husband and I have known Pachi Mangione since my husband first went there. She has been really good at keeping track of everything and letting us know what we need to do next. The doctor is always very friendly and checks with me about anything I need.
This team is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient; especially Pachi who is awesome! Their attention to detail and commitment to patient satisfaction is unparalleled. I would highly recommend this Epilepsy association services and programs to others.
They are so incredibly empathetic and clearly have a desire to help others! Pachi was an amazing guide and helped make the process of getting my mother's medication feel so smooth and simple. If you or someone you know in the Central Florida area has epilepsy and needs help send them here!!
This organization has been providing services to those in need in the Epilepsy community of Central Florida for many years. Even during the Covid pandemic, they never missed a beat providing medical care and support for their clients. It is always done in a caring and professional manner.
Jackie H Brevard County Coordinator always represents and bridges any gaps between the Epilepsy foundation patients and Department of Health pharmacy and health departments! It's a pleasure to work with her and any patients she serves.
My son developed adult onset epilepsy. It has been a debilitating condition. Along with the epilepsy he now struggles with acute anxiety and depression. My son has tried to go back to work but the frequent anxiety has made it tortuous. We attempted to get him disability but we were turned down, even though we had an attorney. As a result he has no insurance. I learned about the Epilepsy Association of Brevard and we applied. Through Jackie at the Epilepsy Association we were able to get his seizure medication from the
state. Jackie is helpful and organized. The Epilepsy Association has been a godsend for us.
I had an appointment today to open my case with Pachi. All questions were answered. I recommend the Epilepsy Association to anyone needing services. I called to schedule an appointment, and I was schedule to be seen the next day.

The first thing I want to say is, Thank God for this organization! I sincerely believe with all my heart that my son would not be alive today if not for their assistance. They provide help with doctor's appointments, medications, and other assistance as well. My son unexpectedly began having grand mal seizures at the age of 18. He's 40 now. The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida has been right there with us from the start. Jackie, the Case Manager for the Brevard County office, goes above and beyond. Five stars is not enough. They deserve at least 100 stars. God bless them for all they do!
I have been with the Epilepsy Association since 2009. I absolutely love the way they have helped me over the years with getting my medications, paying for neurology visits and educating me on epilepsy and seizures. I do not know what I would do without them!
I started to have seizures at the age of fifty. I never had a seizure before my life. I was a spin instructor, group exercise instructor and personal trainer with a huge cliental for over 20 years. I had a full time job with insurance that i had to retire from because I became a liability to the company. I could not find another job that would hire me because of my now disability.
My saving ran out and had to move back in with my mother. I had another seizure that landed me back in the emergency room where i spoke with a social worker and referred me to the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida. They saved my life. Provided me with a neurologist, several medications until we found one that controls my seizures and help me find a job.
I am now 56 years old, living back on my own and bought a dog that, without training can detect when I'm about to have a seizure and when I'm having a seizure. I could not of regained control of my life if it wasn't for Pachi and the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida. They saved my life.
P.S.
I've attached a photo from my last seizure. I was riding my bicycle, had a seizure and wreck in the middle of the road. I'm sharing this photo because having seizures is not fun. But I refuse to let this disease control my life. If it wasn't for the Epilepsy Association I probably would have never made.
I have a dear friend that works for the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida and another friend that is a client. I know and truly appreciate the great work this association does for their clients.
We are very thankful to have the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida

THEY ARE INSTRUMENTAL IN GETTING OUR PATIENTS REGISTERED EFFICIENTLY AND QUICKLY, PROVIDING OUR OFFICE WITH ALL THE PERTINENT INFORMATION NEEDED TO GET THE PATIENT SEEN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. THE EPILEPSY ASSOCIATION IS A VALUED TOOL IN OUR COMMUNITY.
I can not say enough about the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida Inc. I have been working with them for a little over 6 years now and have worked closely with Jackie from the Melbourne location. There's not much she won't do to make sure her clients are taken care of in a professional and timely manner. If it wasn't for the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida Inc a lot of patient's with epilepsy in central Florida would not have access to the care that they need. 10 out of 10 would recommend the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida Inc to anyone in need of medical care for epilepsy.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is absolutely amazing! They offer education through webinars, websites, and social media. They also provide in person support, and advocate through wonderful events such as Epilepsy Walks, Golf Tournaments, Family Days and World Purple Day. My family is very blessed to have found such a wonderful association.

I was recruited by Merle Evanchek, when she received the original grant. The original staff was Merle, myself and Sharon Mills. We were tiny but because of Merle we grew. She was remarkable - and we did make a difference in the Epilepsy community. Best boss and job I ever had. Merle Evanchyk was a powerhouse. Her inspiration, her daughter Linda.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida, Inc. is a great asset for the community of Orlo Vista, FL. As an Association they are proactive in their community by involvement with other nonprofit groups and outreaches. Their facility is maintained in a clean and attractive manor at all times. The are great neighbors and provide a much needed service to the Central Florida area.
I have worked with this Association for over 38 years as a volunteer and have seem them grow in services, programs, education, and outreach to community and beyond. I personally have two family members with Epilepsy … one locally and one out of state that have relied on their services. Their staff is highly knowledgeable and professional. I firmly believe that the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is one of the leading Epilepsy associations in the United States.
It is heartening to know that for all the years that the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida has been in existence its reputation for delivering service to patients and their families, their handling of funds and their position as an upstanding non-profit agencies has been without blemish. This agency is truly one for which we can all be thankful. The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida has been an exemplary organization for over 50 years. It has serviced clients and supported families, disbursed information and always been above reproach. The organization has had only two executive directors, the founder, Merle Evanchyck now has a scholarship named in her honor for students who have been impacted by epilepsy. Chuck Carmen, the present executive director is as dedicated as Ms. Evanchyck was and carries on. The needs have expanded and the support is challenging but the dedication is strong and the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida continues the good work. Epilepsy U is a reliable source on the web for all who need information. Sincerely, Saundra Gray
We are The Anita Kaufmann Foundation (AKF), global sponsor of Purple Day for epilepsy awareness. AKF has worked with The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida for many years, collaborating with them on events and referring people with epilepsy who reach out to us for support in their back yard. In each instance we have found this outstanding organization to be dedicated, hard-working, professional and all-caring of those struggling with epilepsy and seizures. Anyone needing specialized care and support, or current information about epilepsy, should know that they are to be trusted and feel assured help is on the way. This is the quintessential epilepsy organization.

A devastating diagnosis of epilepsy can tear at the fiber of a family and create challenges more than difficult to manage. Finding support is one of those challenges. The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida takes the lead in supporting persons with epilepsy and their families in the state. They are the go-to organization in Florida and we are proud to work with them.
Mike Sheehan and The Epilepsy Foundation was and still is a life saver! If it were not for them I would NOT have received the proper care, diagnosis and more importantly the proper medication. Also I would NEVER be able to afford the medicine which cost an outrageous cost of $40.00 per pill. I can't stress my enormous gratitude to this Foundation and Mike Sheehan who is very compassionate and helpful!
I so love Dr. Commiter and his staff ! Especially Mike always looking out for me :) Iv had seizures since age 16 and could no way pay for medication doing part time jobs . No one gives benefits and insurance to peeps like me . Mike Thank you and your saving my life . Iv had over a thousand seizures over many years . Head injury’s produced me with 8 different types . Now I’m on Depikote . Iv been told I’m getting older and this may work . I fell on my face last year to lose my front teeth :( Social Security says I’m not eligible :( Here’s what it looks like working my ass off just to make ends meet working 12 an hour many hours just to eat and live :(

The Epilepsy Association of Central FL (EACF) has been taking care of me for over 10 years. EACF provides free neurological care to epileptics (like me) who wouldn't have any at all if not for them.
Case managers are so helpful and supportive! Just one way they help patients - guiding us through patient assistance programs to help us get the medicine we need but could never afford.
My seizures are now controlled-- and I have the people at EACF to thank for that.
I'm a former client. They helped me get a doctor and helped me get my seizure medicine, when I didn't have insurance. I'm not sure where I would've gotten any help, until I was told about them. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I'm so grateful for them and the organization. I personally send out my thanks to Mike, Pachi, Kathy, and Dr. Comitter. They are great people!!
The caring staff is knowledgeable and ensures each person with epilepsy is getting the help that is needed to maintain a healthy wellbeing.
This is a great place if you’re new to the area or if you’ve just been diagnosed with epilepsy. I had no idea what I was in for when I started having seizures last year, but everyone here made me feel so welcomed and gave me the right medication to control my illness.
This one of the most outstanding nonprofit organizations that I had the experience first hand. They were there for me to walk me through one the most challenging moments of my life. Pachi ,Mike and the physician extremely knowledgeable and caring. They made feel like family. Thank you all you are dynamic.
As a practicing Neurologist in the Orlando area for many years, I have seen first hand the incredible service the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida provides to those children and adults with epilepsy who are indigent and/or uninsured or otherwise unable to afford diagnostic evaluation and anticonvulsant medications, which can be quite expensive. These patients are oftentimes unable to drive or to acquire work due to stringent but necessary legal restrictions. the lifting of which is dependent on control of seizure activity which is in turn dependent on having appropriate medication and proper medical followup, as is provided
by the Epilepsy clinic.
As founder and executive director of the Courtney Project inc. 501c3 have had the honor and privilege to partner with Epilepsy Association chuck carmen and ceil layfield on several of their amazingly incredible events! Without a doubt the Epilepsy Association of central Florida is high on the list of proactive life changing not for profit organizations in the country if not world!
The Epilepsy Assoc dedication to our children and adults with seizures is outstanding! They help with medications, EEG‘s, MRI and lab work, and with the emotional aspects of a chronic illness as well!

EACF sponsors social support group Teen Epilepsy Orlando and has been supportive of this group from the start. Given TEO is a very one-of-a-kind group that you can’t find many places, all of us that benefit from TEO are very grateful for their support.
Working with children who have epilepsy is heartbreaking. Life is hard and you never know when a seizure will occur. The help they get from the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is so valuable. They feel normal again, feel that someone cares and feel that they can go on in life. The association is the best!
Thanks!!
They do trendemous work, on and off the field when it comes to the cause and solution of Epilepsy and how we as the community can be aware of the disorder and help those who needed especially those who have been diagnosed newly. As someone who has been living with epilepsy for twenty fours, I must say they never see to amaze me. All colleagues are amazing ! even their events
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a great resource for families that have a new diagnosis in the Central Florida area.
My nine year old son suffers seizures as a result of his severe neurodegenerative disorder. The Epilepsy Association has been a great resource for education, contacts, and information. The website is great and easy to navigate.
The association has been instrumental in helping our children with their epilepsy needs with EEG's. medications, fund raising, talking to the schools and support groups. their web site is excellent with educational seminars, information for parents and children and a wonderful epilepsy store to "shop".
Thanks Chuck and your great team!!
I've been a volunteer with the organization and have known Chuck from EACF for over 10 years. He works tirelessly to make sure that patients receive the care they need. He has a true mission of helping others. Thanks, Chuck.

The EACF organization is such a wonderful place to volunteer. Their team is dedicated to the mission of EACF and thoughful of the patients they serve. I've enjoyed volunteering on the Golf Tournament for the last 8 years. Even though we have a job to do, we always have fun. But the real joy comes from knowing how many families we helped. I'm grateful that EACF is there to serve the community. Without them, I can't imagine where these families would receive the assistance they need. But I've also learned that is not just the doctor visits or the medicine that the patients must take, it's also the support the staff provides to the patients and their families that make a difference. Chuck Carmen has done a great job of matching talent with resources. His team is AWESOME!
This is such a Great organization they have helped me with my daughter when I needed information on Dr and treatments. I know that I can always count on them to be there for anything that we need.
The best non profit organization in Central Florida...loved attending the Solar Bears game this year...will continue to support...
It's foundations like these that connect families and patients in need. The need for education and need for treatment. So very proud to be a part.
EACF is always finding ways to do activities for those with epilepsy,as well as their families. They offer many resources and are willing to help in ANY way they can. Also make dreams come true. while they did not arrange this personal meeting(The superstar chose my son on his own),my son got to meet former World champion of the WWE and IMPACT WRESTLING talent ALBERTO EL PATRON(DEL RIO),because of a special event they did have for epilepsy children. My daughter,as well. Not many organizations make sure families are involved.

I am a board member for the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida and also have a family member with epilepsy. The association does a tremendous job at connecting those afflicted with epilepsy with resources and information they might not have access to otherwise. Some of the best resources are Epilepsy U, case management services, and the association's connections with some of the best neurologists around; all of which benefit clients. The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida also provides clients with a support system. This support is critical for what is still a highly stigmatized condition. Ultimately the support and resources provided make for a very special organization that I am honored to be a part of.
EACF is a wonderful agency with hands on help for children and adults with epilepsy. They provide support with medications, appointments, EEG's as well as support groups and counseling. They provide education to the schools and organizations interested in learning more about seizure disorders. They raise money to help the children and have activities free for the kids. They have a scholarship fund for the kids and a foundation for special needs. Great people!!!
I've known of this non-profit for a few years now and also the people who work there. I've seen them in action and am very impressed with their skill set and interpersonal skills. I support the epilepsy association of Central Florida.
The EACF provides excellent, much needed services to fortunate clients all across the Central Florida area. My wife and I always look forward to their Brevard County epilepsy walk each Halloween! The costumes are always the best! After getting to know several of the board members, staff, and volunteers, I can confidently confirm that EACF is a great organization, with a stellar crew!!!! Keep up the great work team!
Being someone who suffers from Epilepsy. I understand the fear of not knowing what is going on with your health and not knowing how to solve these issues. Having an organization that helps support those who are suffering is truly inspirational. Whether it is raising money to help in research or just supporting diagnosed patients and their families through this uncertain time the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida Inc. stands as a pillar of strength in our community.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida does a great job putting together events for those impacted by epilepsy. These events are an opportunity for those to meet others who share the same experiences in a fun and relaxed environment (away from doctors and nurses). The relationship we have formed with the Epilepsy Association would not be possible if it wasn't for the great people there.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a prime example of what you would hope to find with all nonprofits, they understand and are committed to their core objective of supporting Floridians living with epilepsy and advocating for epilepsy patients in both the community and public policy arenas. The organization is very fortunate to have a top notch Executive Director who capably juggles the many hats he is asked to wear! One where I have the opportunity to collaborate with him is in the public policy arena advocating for patient access to care related issues. Chuck is always the first to lean in and provide leadership and focus to what can be a chaotic process working with the Florida legislature. We admire and appreciate his passion and commitment to the Association!
Long running charity with a significant community outreach(sports arenas, e.g. Solar Bears hockey at the Amway Center, cooperating with other groups, e.g BSA) who has stood the test of time and continues to thrive

Outstanding service to an underserved, needy population in Central Florida. Have a long history of helping the community
I have worked with numerous nonprofit organizations and Executive Director, Chuck Carmen, does a phenomenal job. He is extremely caring and dedicated to providing the much needed services to the community. This organization is top notch and wish nothing but the best for them.
I think everyone needs to know how terrific Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is. I have been working with them for almost 3 years now, and the people there are just terrific. Their executive Director, Chuck Carmen is amazing and will do anything in his power to help find a cure for Epilepsy. I have been working directly with Chuck, and he has helped us help people with Epilepsy. Chuck found my company, QR LifeSupport, a few years ago, when we had just launched, and all he thought was how great would we be to help people with Epilepsy give them peace of mind and a better quality of life. Chuck and everyone at EACF, always put the Epilepsy community first with everything they do, and it shows. I am thankful that I not only work with EACF on a daily basis, but I have learned lot just from working with them. I support them 100% with everything they do, and wish them the best everyday that they find a cure for Epilepsy.
I could only imagine what could be done by most nonprofits if they were fortunate enough to be run by someone as skilled as Chuck Carmen. After 15 years of personal experience with this organization it still amazes me how to see how caring and dedicated Chuck is to provided much needed services to the Central Florida community.
The EACF is a first-rate organization. Following the skilled leadership of it's executive director, Chuck Carmen, EACF is a light of hope to epilepsy patients all over Central Florida. More than that, it's innovative website, www.EpilepsyU.com is a valuable resource to other Epilepsy Associations and epilepsy patients across the United States, providing information, education, and assistance at the touch of a button. As the father of an epilepsy patient, and as an epilepsy service provider, I have seen with my own eyes the care and compassion that resides within all who work for and with the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida.
I have had the good fortune of working with the team from Epilepsy Association of Central Florida for more than two years, and can't say enough good things about them! They are a group of caring, kind, and compassionate people, who are focused on doing well AND doing good to help improve the lives of those who suffer from Epilepsy. With strong leadership, staff, board, volunteers, donors, supporters, and numerous other stakeholders, this organization has accomplished so much, not the least of which is creating their online marketplace, EpilepsyStore.com, to sell unique merchandise branded with a proprietary "purple "e" ribbon" that helps raise epilepsy awareness and supports the mission of Epilepsy Association of Central Florida. Hats off to this AMAZING organization!

The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is an amazing organization that truly makes its mission the focal point of everything it does. I have had the good fortune of getting to know the leadership, board, staff, and volunteers from this nonprofit, and all of them have been passionate about doing whatever they can to help improve the quality of life for people who suffer from epilepsy. I have been most impressed with the "can do" culture of this organization that leverages its smart thinking and sound planning to take quick action that makes a difference in the lives of others. I have worked with many nonprofit organizations throughout Florida over the course of many years, and I can honestly say that Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is one of my favorites!
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is consistently providing the highest quality of service for the Community. They are innovative, creative, and understand the needs of people with epilepsy and the families and caregivers that serve them. Their Leadership Team is outstanding and they are not afraid to take calculated risk. The organization goes above and beyond for those they serve. They have a local, regional, national, and international presence.
I volunteer for this organization doing EEGs for them. I do this because it allows optimal treatment for patients who would not receive this care. It helps to decrease hospital visits. It also helps to lead more productive lives for the clients because they can receive the proper medical care for Epilepsy.
The EACF has been so much more than just a place to gain knowledge about Epilepsy. They are caring, compassionate, really listen and work towards getting answers and easing fears. They make a very scary time, a little easier to handle. As a parent of a little one with Epilepsy, they have brought us so much knowledge, comfort and help over the years, they are really one of the family. I feel we would still be lost if it were not for the wonderful staff at the EACF.

EACF has been a wonderful support structure for myself and my family as our son has gone through his Epilpesy journey. They have given support and advise and calmed us in our hardest moments. I have seen the work they do with other families and it is amazing the difference that they make. We proudly support this organization adn promote their excellence everywhere we go.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a leading voice at the State Capitol for persons with epilepsy, their families, and their caregivers.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida has helped so many families in our community . I have personally witnessed how they have helped a family I know as they discovered their youngest boy of 9 was diagnosed with Epilepsy. It was an emotional roller coaster as they struggled to find a sense of normalcy for the older two children. They reached out to EACF and found the resources and guidance they needed to help their son and family deal with the challenges that faced them. We often don't recognize the importance of such a wonderful organization until it affects someone you know. Chuck Carmen, Executive Director, is a wonderful man with a heart of gold. His willingness to reach out and help this family was a testimony to his mission and heart for the organization!
As a person with Epilepsy, I wanted to get involved with a cause for awhile that helps people with Epilepsy. In March, one of the bands I play in threw a fundraiser party to benefit the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida (we try to do at least one per quarter, but this is the closest to my heart). Chuck attended and while we were able to raise some awareness, a few hundred dollars, I learned that EACF is one of the oldest and largest Epilepsy Organizations in the country. They provide medical help like doctors visits and medication to those who can't afford it. They do what I want to do, which is educate and inform the public about epilepsy.
Since our daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy we reached out to find others going through what we were. The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida welcomed us and introduced us to families with children living with epilepsy. We love participating in their fundraisers and helping spread awareness. Amazing non-profit. As an executive with the Orlando Magic, I've been fortunate to partner with Chuck on many great awareness nights here at the Amway Center. A tremendous organization support a ruly great cause, whom really appreciate their dedicated volunteers.
Chuck Carmen has taken the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida to new heights as he is a very active community figure making sure that this non-profit is on the radar! The countless stories of families that this organization has helped is growing. He is constantly doing outreach and bringing the community leaders together of business and government to know more about the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida.

The epilepsy association is a top-tier organization. I have served as a director for the past five years and it is a model for small and medium sized nonprofits. The executive director consistently exceeds my high expectations. The staff follow his lead and do a superb job with everything from providing services to fundraising.

The EACF is a wonderful organization for patients and their families. They are an invaluable resource for the community and provide excellent care for those in need. It is my privilege to be involved with the EACF and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.
One of my young sons has epilepsy and it can be very scary as a parent when faced with the diagnosis.
Calling the foundation with many questions and fears I have found a source of information, compassion and help - THANK YOU
The EACF has given my husband and I a place to feel welcomed. A community where our daughter (that has had epilepsy since she was 10 months old) can feel loved. When we got her diagnosis we felt alone and afraid but the EACF has become our extended family. We love that they are working hard to break the stigma of epilepsy and help people in need. I would recommend the EACF to anyone that knows someone with epilepsy, lives with it or just wants to learn more.

Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a well-run organization that contributes significantly to our community and to those families who live with epilepsy. They are energetic and enthusiastic in their search for therapies and cures that will have real impact for real people. Not every organization like theirs is as forward-looking and proactive and ready to serve.

A wonderful organization that truly cares. I have been involve with the EACF for years and their dedication to help inform, teach and care for those suffering with the disease, and their families, continues to amaze me.
I have had the priviledge of working with this organization to share information on the ketogenic and modified atkins diet for seizures. The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida not only cares about the support and education of families and patients, they also strive to help health care professionals learn about the available therapies for epilepsy and provide resources to help patients find what treatment best fits their needs. It is such a vital organization for the support of patients, families, friends and professionals who are affected by this medical condition and I appreciate all they do!
What a wonderful gift to Central Florida to have such a quality, supportive, organization to reach out and help so many. Chuck Carmen is dedicated to making this association outstanding.
The EACF fills a need that most people don't even know exists. Unless you know someone that has been affected by epilepsy, you are probably unaware of the wonderful job that the association does providing help and support. Chuck Carmen and his staff work tirelessly to help epilepsy patients and their families throughout Central Florida.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a true gift! The guidance, education, and caring that is provided to patients and parents alike is such a wonderful and valuable resource, and many time it's the only resource that we, as parents, can turn to. Thank you for so many years of dedicated service to our community!
Most Sincrely,

I work with many non-profits and rarely do I experience one with such a tight-nit community. The Association has done a wonderful job of not just providing services and fundraising to support those services but of providing an extended family to all those they serve.
I have had the pleasure of working over the past year with Mr Carmen and the Epilepsy Association. I have to say it is one of the friendliest and most professional organization I have worked with. Currently he is working with our students ot allow his clients to have EEGs and for our students to get the experinece to help create strong techs in the community.
I have known the Director of The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida for many years. Knowing the kind of man he is makes this organization top shelf. With his leadership the EACF is in the top of its field, helping those that most need help in their time of need. EACF is truly the place to turn to when faced with this debilitating disease.
I was turned down because a lady was having a bad day.I was treated like a crook and a bigot. Melbourne is not a good place to visit. Worst time I ever had.And this is what they say.---The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida, Inc. (EACF) is dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons affected by epilepsy/seizure disorders. EACF identifies, defines, and advocates the needs of persons with epilepsy, as well as planning and implementing strategies to meet those needs. ----- It is a total lie. I have only been shunned and talked bad to.
The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a wonderful resource for patients, families, and professionals.
The Epilepsy Assoc. of Central Florida is a great organization and is doing great things here in Central Florida. Chuck Carmen works non stop to bring atttention to the organization and does everything in his power to raise money for the organization.
It has been a my pleasure to be associated with this organization and look forward to doing more to help it's cause.
SIncerely,
Brian
Thank you for all you do in our community. You continue to make a tremendous difference in many lives.
For thirty-five years, we have sponsored the AutoClassic Golf Tournament benefitting the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida, During this time, we have seen the EACF grow in professionalism and services provided to their clients and the community. They are continually developing new programs benefiting their clients and are recognized as a leader by not only Epilepsy Associations but other groups and individuals as well. They are caring, knowledgeable and are there to help those in need. We are proud to be associated with this great organization.
Central Florida Epilepsy Association provides to the community what most clients have to be without. The professional team is always available to answer any question one might have, they provide current and updated information to the layman and other professional teams,as well as distrubuting easy to read brochures. If someone needs follow up medical care or medications, arrangements are made. If current updated eduation or continuing educaton is needed a Health Educator is provided. This organization continually meets the needs of the community.
Because of CFEA people understand what is happening to them, are compliant with their medications and are getting their follow up examinations. A Big Thanks goes to these dedicated professionals who work very hard to take care of our community.
EACF is a great organization that has left a positive mark for many decades in the community. It is professionally run and financially well administered which means that the funds go where they're needed most to the people with epilepsy in the community and into the educational and prevention programs. The organization has taken on challenges that that weren't being addressed such educating the public on the shaken baby syndrome which increases the chances of epilepsy episodes for that individual. The organization has gone through very positive restructuring and has advanced it's information technology outreach to the 21st century with it's new educational website and social media integration. There can only be better things to come in the future. So please join us in our events and donate and volunteer to make us even stronger.
Proud member of the board.
This is a fine and professional organization dedicated to the people it serves. There are no exessive admiistration costs and no large salaries for the few people that are paid by the Agency.
The people involved are 100% committed to advancing the cause and providing affordable services to victims who have no other recourse.
Please consider volunteering or donating...or both.
My lovely grandaughter was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 16. As I tried to find information, I discovered the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida. I was incredibly impressed by this organization, which not only provides information and education but so much more. From case management to clinical services to efforts aimed at prevention, this is an orgnization that makes a difference in Central Florida for people with epilepsy. Most of the clients have nowhere to turn, but EACF is there and ready to help in every way possible. Executive director Chuck Carmen is tireless in his efforts to connect those in need of help with resources.

This individual has been a troublemaker. The case manager he refers to is a minority and he made derogatory comments about her that were overheard by other tenants in the office area, was threatening to our staff and has been but on notice by the sheriff with a cease and desist order from our legal counsel.
