Programs: P2b operates to support the charitable, scientific and educational purposes of the trustees of the university of pennsylvania ("penn"). Consistent with this mission, p2b was organized to broaden and enrich penn's academic experience by offering penn's expertise and resources to students and faculty who develop internet-based ideas and by engaging in distance learning and biotechnology initiatives, as well as to support penn's community development goals by working with local governments and the private sector to revitalize the economically-disadvantaged west philadelphia area.
