OBGC was the first nonprofit youth sports organization in the State to receive Maryland Nonprofits' "Seal of Excellence" for nonprofit management. Those high standards are evident in all of OBGC's sports programs and gorgeous 118-acre Community Park. Kudos to the 800+screened and trained volunteers that manage OBGC and coach 7,000 children each year!!

Causes: Amateur Sports, Children & Youth, Sports, Youth Community Service Clubs
Mission: The mission of obgc is to provide children with safe after-school sports programs that emphasize physical and emotional development, build self-esteem and cultivate a lifelong interest in sports, health and teamwork.
Programs: 1 - providing organized athletic programs to the youth of the greater olney area on a year-round basis. Over 6,200 youths participated in the programs which were not provided elsewhere in the community.
2 - providing organized and high quality sports related summer camps.
3 - providing fun and organized special events for the community.
