Causes: Health, Home Health Care
Mission: Nursing sisters home care d/b/a catholic home care, a member of catholic health services of long island (chs), as a ministry of the catholic church, continues christ's healing mission, promotes excellence in care, and commits itself to those in need. Chs affirms the sanctity of life, and advocates for the poor and underserved, and serves the common good. It conducts its healthcare practice, business, education and innovation with justice, integrity and respect for the dignity of each person.
Programs: Nursing sisters home care (dba catholic home care) provided approximately 342,785 visits to 25,362 home care recipients in 2016. Services include skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, nutritional counseling, medical social workers, wound care nurses and closely supervised home health aides.
