The same recorded voice has been harassing me for over 4 years from this ffcf telemarketer. He calls from all kinds of different numbers that i recognize such as my credit union. How is that even possible? It just goes to show the lengths they'll go to for scams like this. DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY. Give to something REAL!! They get away with it by giving pennies to the actual cause! It's pathetic!

Firefighters Charitable Foundation, is an awesome organization that helped my family and I after losing everything in a house fire in Sept 2020 they not only, were very courteous and understanding to our situation but they seemed to really empathize with my grief and need of a helping hand. I am so very grateful to this foundation and wld highly recommend anyone to the them if ever in such an unfortunate situation. Please donate to this cause as I will pay it forward as well. Thank you so much Guys, much love and respect.
Sincerly,
Jennifer Hill

Firefighters Charitable Foundation (so they call themselves) sent me a bill saying that I had pledged $25 and that it was now due. I had not pledged anything. They are now sending me the same bill every week. To top that off, the bills always insist that I add an additional $2 to my so-called "pledge." I am very glad that I researched them on-line at Great Nonprofits and Charity Navigator and learned that they spend almost all their money on fundraising and administration. It is sad that probably many people fall for their scams. It is also sad that they are giving a bad name to firefighters -- I used to be one, and 99% of them are really good, honest people. I also used to be the executive director of a fire-related charitable nonprofit, and we spent about 95% of our income (grants and donations) directly helping people. This outfit should be indicted by federal law enforcement.

to the zakk74... I hope your house burns down. People want to donate money to the charity, not for-profit solicitors. 10-12% of the gross is far below a reasonable amount. You shouldn't have a job! Your salary is paid by the charitable giving of others. People think they give money to this charity, but really it's going to solicitors that rip of donors and charities.

I work for the company that does SOME of their fundraising, they get between 10-12% of total GROSS raised. Its not 1%, and honestly that turns out to be a lot of money in the grand scheme of things. also providing work for us in economically distressed areas is a great thing,

After reviewing the financials of this charity on CN, I will not continue to donate. This is so disappointing to find out that I have clearly been supporting the principals of the charity - not the people described in their mission. Thanks CN for bringing this to my attention!

This company in Ga is a scam. They only donate 1% of their profits. The Attorney Generals of all states should and will be notified. They pray on elderly people who think they are donating to their local firefighters. Someone needs to stop their scams!!!

These people have an address on Shallowford Rd. in Atlanta, GA. They do telephone solicitation and you can see they are paid very handsomely for the little they do.

Be aware that the paperwork they send out lists Topeka, KS as their address and FCF as their acronym which can be confusing based on the information from Charity Navigator. I had to do more research on the internet to determine that it was the same organization. Read the fine print on the back of the donor form and it will mention the NY address.
