Mission: To maximize the independence and community living skills of persons experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, in order to reduce unnecessary hospitalizatiion, secure other health and welfare services, as required by each individual referred to north jersey friendship house for treatment and to render assistance voluntarily in a safe, confortable environment.

job training programs - program provides structure to a memeber's day, increases confidence and self esteem, facilitates social interaction and offer opportunities to learn appropriate behavior. Specific programs include applied production, maintenance, and food service
employment programs - transitioning job ready members into the work force through transitional employment programs and job coaching.
