Mission: The north carolina conservation network supports, trains, and coordinates diverse groups and directly advocates to achieve equitable and sustainable solutions for our environment.
Programs: The nc conservation network supports, trains, and coordinates diverse groups and directly advocates to achieve equitable and sustainable solutions for our environment. This involves working with our 60 affiliate organizations (at the local, state, regional, and national levels) and over 173,000 individual citizens to protect north carolina's air, water and quality of life. In 2017, our citizen activists sent more than 94,000 emails and made more than 3,000 phone calls to decision-makers regarding environmental issues related to renewable energy, environmental justice, air quality, emerging contaminants, stormwater, and more.
