Mission: The nature printing society is an international non-profit arts organization dedicated to the history and practice of the art of nature printing, and to those who support our philosophy of respect for nature through the art of the print.
Programs: To achieve our mission in 2016 we:published and distributed a quarterly newsletter for members and maintained a membership directory, welcomed 30 new members. Held an annual workshop at pacific university, forest grove, or for 87 members and guests - awarded two scholarships for teachers to attaend the conference and bring the art of nature printing back to their schools. Published dates of shows exhibiting prints by members, published bibliographies of relevant books and articles to nature printers. Donated $250 to amazon "gyotaku project" for supplies. Updated and established a new website with nature printing information, the 2017 nps workshop class catalog, member profiles and links to relevant sites.
