Mission: To help adults and adolescents of high risk and underserved populations improve communication, empathy, cooperation, and relationships by understanding the meaning and impact of spoken and written words, body language, and facial expressions through the principles of narrative medicine
Programs: The narrative method program - increases awareness of one's self and others, ability to deeply and selflessly absorb others, expresison of oneslf without fear of judgement, gaining new perspectives, expansion of one's imagination, gaining the tools to process feelings with others, gaining skills to clearly and empathically communicate, ability to better read and understand others, ability to create more meaningful connections. The program offers a variety of workshops to different audiences, such as veterans and youths, as well as hosts salon workshops that act as an introduction to the services provided by the organization.
