ROMAH Foundation is truly the body of Christ working to meet the needs of communities that are struggling. As a supporter of this organization, I can truly say that God's work is being done and I know that our donations are going into the right hands. We will continue to support ROMAH's missions as God continues to affirm that our givings are reaching those who need it. Thank you ROMAH and Ruth Ann for doing an AMAZING job! Working with ROMAH was a great experience. Everything was very well organized from beginning to end. There was so much work to do, but there was an adequate amount of volunteers on hand to make light of the work. The selected venue was great well publicized which was reflected by the turn out from the target community. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and everyone worked well together to reach the common goal. There were only a couple of minor areas where there was ambiguity and downtime, but I think that's to be expected at events like this. It was a very memorable time and I would definitely work with ROMAH again!

ROMAH Foundation is doing great work abroad and locally. I am proud to have been a part of their organization by helping spread the word. I have seen the impact they have made on the communities in the Phillippines and in Los Angeles. Having an organization like ROMAH allows people like myself to contribute to those in need, here at home or far away in another country. Whether it's collecting food, clothing, school supplies or monetary donations, I know what I've given with help those less fortunate and bring smiles to their faces.

Being God's creation, I must return all the favors to our Almighty God. A simple gesture of helping other without expecting to return favors is really a plus to Him.

I have been partnering up with Romah Foundation to help bring change locally. Romah Foundation has helped sponsor one of our cooking events for a hundred individuals. The people behind the organization are dedication and driven to bring change not only locally, but globally. I am so happy to have met such incredible individuals who are not only aware of their environment, but physically make change!

I volunteered for ROMAH FOUNDATION for a Back to school Event where they gave away Groceries, school supplies clothes toys and had hair cuts avaliable as well. It was amazing to see the kids and everyone come out and have a great time and to see the smiles on the kids faces were priceless. They went above and beyond to help out the community and were very organized in the process. I can't wait to do it again this year!

It is my pleasure to be able to say that the Romah foundation is doing an outstanding job helping people in need. It seems that society as a whole is in rapid selfish moral decline. The world needs more institutions like Romah to help those less fortunate than we are.

"Renew our minds and hearts" is a battle that I must continuously experience for a lifetime. As its acronym, ROMAH Foundation, Inc. was a blessing in my missionary life because ROMAH gave me hope in times that I felt so low and had no one to assure me that I can rebuild what was destroyed by calamities and by reason of circumstance cannot anymore go further to aid the needy, exploited, rejected, neglected and the poorest of the poor. I started working as a development and pastoral worker 27 years ago. Ruth Ann Jardinaso, the foundress and current president of ROMAH Foundation was then in her youth when she joined and became active member of our charismatic youth group in the parish. Later she migrated to the USA. Our lay community continued to work for the children, youth, families, rural poor and Indigenous Peoples up to the present. While she went to the USA for a greener pasture. On November 25, 2004, together with 6 youth from the community, we went to stay at our 5-hectare land donated to us by a generous benefactor. The project for the rural poor and Indigenous Peoples had a good start but later after 3 years, natural calamity like typhoon, and many other reasons forced me travel from one place to the other. Hopelessly looking for funding partners in some of our projects, the newly organized ROMAH came to my aid when the foundress and president who was a close friend way back 2 decades ago contacted me and plan to support our development programs for the poorest of the poor. Our partnership with ROMAH are as follow: 1) After the typhoon Frank sometime in 2009 that destroyed properties and lives of hundreds of people in Panay Island, Philippines, ROMAH came and we visited rural and urban poor areas and Indigenous Peoples communities in the Visayan Island giving aid to the poor victims of the calamity. The most memorable was when 12 of us, walked about 5 hours crossing rivers and mountains in order to reach the Indigenous Peoples communities affected by the typhoon. We brought some food to aid the community in spite of a very long travel from Negros to Antique; 2) Same year, when I arrived at our Youth Formation Center in Negros Occidental, the president of ROMAH together with the youth volunteers are painting and repairing the 3-storey dilapidated youth formation center.; 3) ROMAH also passionately supported the education of 50 poorest children which was recently increased from 50 - 250 children in elementary and high school; 4) ROMAH since last year constructed a Community House, church building in Palasilungan Living & Learning Center (PLLC) in the mountain now being used as Day Care Center where feeding to help the nutritional improvement of the children was envisioned; 5) ROMAH also supported in the fencing and planting of vegetables and trees in PLLC; 6) At present SDMFI and ROMAH are working as partners in various development works. As I said ROMAH did not only work with us as partners but as a support in our various ministries and services for humanity especially the recent victims of earthquake in Negros Oriental. There were still many remarkable experience with ROMAH that I cannot mention here. AS a volunteer of the group, I am confident that we will be able to help the victims of the recent earthquake, construct our 3 - storey Youth Formation Center, continue our scholarship for children and may increase the number of supported children in the coming years. Disaster Relief is the most urgent need of the people here in Negros Island and the presence of ROMAH will make a difference in the hearts and minds of the people. I wrote this experience when I saw the need in the next few months that ROMAH would be able to support . Hoping ROMAH will be given a chance to aid more poorest of the poor people throughout the world .

ROMAH is one organization that I have closely worked with. It was able to deliver lots of goods and served the typhoon victims in Western Visayas, Philippines four years ago. Also, it sponsored hundreds of scholars in our Youth Formation Center as our scholarship partner. It is very quick in disaster responses like it did in Haiti and I guarantee its credibility as a non-profit organization.

My last big volunteer job was the 3rd H.U.G.S. event on September 2011. I was moved how we helped families in need in this time of unemployment crisis. It was the worth waking up at 4:30 am to set-up the food distribution area and throughout the day meeting these families and individuals whom you put a smile on their faces. I know I made a difference through ROMAH Foundation.
