Mission: Multifaith works is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that provides housing and supportive services to people living with aids or other life-threatening illnesses, and community education on issues of human diversity. Four programs provide these life-changing services: - transitional housing helps homeless persons living with hiv/aids become self-sufficient and ready for permanent housing. - careteams help persons living with hiv/aids by providing errand assistance and social support. - shanti provides one-to-one non-judgmental, non-directive listening to persons living with grief. - shift provides peer support and sober social opportunities to persons in the lgbtq recovery community.
Programs: Housing - provides low-cost independent community housing for persons living with aids. Five houses were operated in the seattle area.
shift-prn (samhsa) - offer peer-based programs to help people in substance abuse recovery. This is accomplished through support groups and other group and peer-based counseling activities.
shanti - human service agency that offers free emotional support for people affected by hiv/aids, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.
careteams and other - offer people of all faiths a common volunteer experience by providing practical support and friendship to people living with hiv/aids.
