Mission: The MMSC was founded to fill the gap in the services provided to those suffering from MS and their families. Over 15,000 individuals in the Washington D.C. metro area are affected by MS. We are the only Center located in the metro area which caters specifically to MS sufferers and their families. Additionally, we are the only provider in the US of a national monthly online Chat Room for children living within MS families. It is essential that the MS families in the metro area have a Center to rely upon which focuses solely on MS and the issues which surround the illness.
