Mission: Mcpaw is the dedicated partner of the montgomery county animal services and adoption center (mcasac) and works to provide enhancements and augment funding for the shelter for the benefits of the animals in residence. Mcpaw works to identify and affect the primary reasons that animals end up in shelters and, through special projects and programs, strives to be a catalyst for education and change for the benefit of animals in montgomery county.

spay it forward: spay it forward (sif) is a program of mcpaw dedicated to impacting the number of animals entering the montgomery county animal services and adoption center by providing access to spay neuter and micro chipping. Sif phase one is dedicated to addressing the issue of feral cats and pet overpopulation. Sif's programs include charter colonies, the pet food pantry, charter colonies and classrooms and research on the economic impact of pet overpopulation.
