Mission: The promotion of education and civic advancement and enjoyment of the inhabitants of the city and county of mobile, alabama, through the sponsorship and furtherance of mardi gras and its activities and traditions, and the doing of all other lawful things incident to such purpose.
Programs: Promotion of the celebration of mardi gras through carnivals, public festivals, entertainment, and amusement and participation in civic matters for the public's happiness and welfare including the establishment of and maintaining a carnival museum which will maintain a permanent repository for historical documents, costumes and other memorabilia related to mardi gras in mobile and will offer a venue for the educational benefit of students.
