To proclaim the Gospel misson of Jesus for our time and place by becoming a Faith Community of God's People. Through a commitment to prayer, study, fellowship and ministry, we strive to become a community of hope to all around us and a Living Mission to the many who choose to visit San Jos.
Institution of the "HISTORICAL MISSION"
Built solidly upon the foundations of history, Mission San Jos us a monument to a muilt-cultural blending of peoples. It's Franciscan Spirit as well as its architecture point to beginnings and possibilities for our future. The presence of the Franciscan Friars is a constant reminder that the soul of Texas has a vibrant Franciscan influence. Through our ministry and the "presence" of our fraternity, we witness the relevancy of Franciscan values; simplcity, peace and joy, for out time.
