I have been a volunteer at Ethnos Missions Center for three years (and counting). Ethnos is not only an warm welcoming urban missionary organization, but is also a family that has a heart to share the gospel with children and families as much as possible. I have personally learned very valuable lessons from my experience at Ethnos. To Ethnos: Thanks for teaching me a lifestyle of loving others!

We spent the last week helping out at the Ethnos Mission Center. The staff there is selfless and compassionate to dozens of children in the community. The children were so excited to come to kids club every day. The staff would go pick up 60+ low income children by knocking door to door in a very large community and bring them to the center where they were fed a nice meal, completed crafts and played games. They would share the love and light of Jesus Christ with kids that had no clue who he was and encourage them to pursue a relationship with him. They were prayed over and loved on. The staff knew every child's name and interest and really developed a true love for each and every child. I took my two children with me (4 and 8 years old) and they were not only humbled by the experience but genuinely sad to leave the staff, there new friends and all the fun that was had over the week. We will most definitely be returning to serve with these awesome folks again.

This organization does an incredible job of reaching their community. I have not found a ministry in the inner city that truly cares so much about children and their families.

The Ethnos community is a beautiful embodiment of the Greatest Commandment - they love Jesus deeply and they love people really well, especially the kids and families on the Westside of San Antonio. They live out their faith in dedicated service every day, truly "walking the walk." Grateful for their ministry in our city.

This group does an amazing job of loving and caring for some of the most vulnerable of our population. The staff is involved in the lives of the children and families beyond the hours of "Kids club". My kids went with me to volunteer and were loved each moment. This group makes a lasting impact in the kids and families they come in contact with.

I came to Ethnos with my church to volunteer with them for a week helping them do Kids Club. Ethnos is really the kind of church that most churches need to be. They are very outwardly focused on reaching and helping the community. They do so much to help kids in the community and teach them about Jesus. Marty Gains has great vision and initiative in leading his church to serve God's will. They are really doing incredible things.

Ethnos is an amazing organization to work with. I have worked with the organization twice, and have loved both experiences. The workers are joyful and energetic giving the children a true experience of a Christ-like attitude. It is one of my goals to start an organization based off of the attitudes and principles of Ethnos. May they continue to bless the San Antonio area for many years to come.

This is the second year I have brought a group of college students from Florida to San Antonio. Last year we "fell into" a position to be able to work with Ethnos. Because of this experience, our group requested to once again come to San Antonio and volunteer at Ethnos. This program is touching the Cassianio community in a way that will impact today, tomorrow and for years to come. It is an honor and a privilege to be allowed to work with this group. They truly love these children and their community. They give of themselves tirelessly. It is my hope and prayer that we can model a ministry after Ethnos in our own community and that the Ethnos Mission can continue their amazing work for many years to come.

My son Anthony looks forward to seeing ethnos. Like literally every Tuesday around 1pm he starts looking for the van. The people are so nice and they treat my son with respect. They make him feel happy. He appreciates the books, reads them all. The lunches and pool time as well. As a mom I appreciate what they do. Thank you Marty and your wife, josh and each and everyone of you. I'm bad with names but my son talks so highly of everyone.

Ethnos Mission Center is such an impacting organization. They do some of the most unbelievable charity work for the little kids in the Westside of San Antonio. Ethnos just catches those little hearts and they invest in them with love and success. They really do impact and change the lives of others in a very beneficial way. I should know, I used to be one of those little kids. I met them when I was 12 and boy was I bad. But they changed my life completely and invested in my heart love like Jesus does to me unconditionally. Without Ethnos, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Overall, I completely, 110%, encourage you to support Ethnos Mission Center, anything can mean everything.

Ethnos Missions Center is an incredible place to invest your money. They serve some of the poorest children and families on the Westside of San Antonio. On any giving day the team is giving their hearts and full attention to these children. They show them what it is like to be loved and cared for, basically they become family to the kids. If these kids have a need Ethnos is there for them offering support. Marty and Imogene, the head of this organization have given up so much because they see the value and worth of these children, just as Jesus does. Do not hesitate to support this group, they are making world changers and history makers.

I do not even know where to start with Ethnos Missions Center. Going out into the communities and talking about Jesus to these little kids is just amazing. When you see the smile on some of these kids' faces when the "yellow shirts" come around then you will know how much of an impact that this organization has on these kids. Children are the perfect age to bring them Jesus. This place is just great!

Ethnos is a great place to volunteer at. They really care about the people they work with. The staff are great, caring and really go out of their way to help those in need. Its great to see people who put the needs of others before theirs. I also love how the kids of the community love the staff.

Ethnos has made a huge impact on the lives of every person they come across.
They are amazing with the hundreds of kids they work with. These kids see
them more then a nonprofit organization, they see them as family. The kids know
exactly who can help them with homework, and who will have a fun game with them
during the day. This organization doesnt just meet the kids, they meet the family and
become close to each person they meet. They do more for their communities then other
then any other organization I have known. They deserve to be recognized for their hard work.

One of the many things I love about Ethnos is you can walk in feeling one way and leave feeling like you have been hugged by God. It's an amazing feeling you get from the time you walk through the door, with the greeters smile,to the hugs of a stranger,to strong words of the pastor. GOD is everywhere.

What I admire about Ethnos is not only the work they do with the kids, but the heart they have when they do it. Ethnos is not just a charity organization that does occasional work, but it's a group of people who have literally made the lives of these children just as important as their very own lives. Ethnos is also extremely open to working with others who want to be a part of making this difference. You don't need a degree, a title, or anything of the sort... All you need is the heart and you are welcome just like family. These are beautiful people caring for beautiful kids. Pouring their heart into them and I just think that is amazing. And it's not only about the kids, the goal is to eventually through the children reach the whole community. There is a church for them to even attend and transportation. As stated Ethnos isn't looking to just be a passer byer in the lives of these individuals, they are looking to be family and lifelong needed friends. What's most beautiful is it's all done for the glory of God!

These urban missionaries are taking God's light into some of the darkest places of lack in our city. They put aside their own physical and emotional comfort to reach, serve and invest in the children and people of our city's Westside. They're extending hope and cultivating opportunity where it's been broken or never been in place to begin with. They're make a lasting impact where most would not give even a first much less a second look.

Ethnos Missions Center is headed up by very special people that have literally given their lives to making a difference in the lives of children that would have otherwise been overlooked. It is all done so selflessly and without fanfare or any need to be recognized. I have personally benefited from their charitable acts and it warms my heart to know there are people so willing to make an impact in so many homes. This is a wonderful organization that practices what it preaches and has a culture of "see a need, meet a need" that shapes what they do on a daily basis.

Ethnos Missions Center is an amazing nonprofit organization that truly impacts the lives of hundreds and hundreds of children and their families. They not only talk the talk but walk the walk daily. They show love, care, and compassion to anyone they see that may need it. If you are looking to get involved or donate this is a organization that will truly pour it all right back into the community and children. Their love and care for children is unique and special, and one of a kind, so I encourage all to get involved with this life changing group and help change the life of a child one day at a time.

The staff have a genuin love for not only the kids but all the family's in the community.
