Mission: The meadows school develops in its students a love of, and respect for, learning inspiring them to seek knowledge independently and preparing them for higher academic pursuits. The school maintains high standards and seeks to instill in its students the concept that education carries with it an obligation to self, family, and community. It encourages each student to become a compassionate and productive member of the increasingly global society of the 21st century.
Programs: The meadows educates over 800 students, ranging from grades prek-12. Our approach to learning combines a traditional education with a focus on 21st century skills. To this end, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity are mainstays of the classroom experience. Students at the meadows learn that education carries with it a responsibility to one's self, family, and community. Service learning is emphasized in all grades, culminating with specific hour requirements in the upper school and an all-school day of service in the spring. Our liberal arts philosophy towards teaching ensures students graduate with a love of learning and a well-rounded portfolio of educational experiences. At the meadows, we believe that the most productive members of society are exposed to all scholastic disciplines. To that end, future lawyers study physics and future doctors read shakespeare. Since our first graduating class in 1991, 100% of tms alumni have been accepted to 4-year colleges and universities. They arrive to their new campuses with curious, creative minds ready to change the world.
