Mission: The madaro family community fund (mfcf) is organized for charitable purposes, to benefit the residents of boston, ma, with a focus on east boston, ma. The mfcf carried on two community traditions, which were previously sponsored by other organizations, eastie's elves and east boston community thanksgiving dinner, and will create a new program for summer jobs for youth.
Programs: Eastie's elves provides underprivileged families and children in the greater boston area with gifts during the holiday season. The eastie's elves event was started by a former state senator. Over the past nine years, more than 5,000 toys were collected and distributed to families in need. The mfcf, inc continued this tradition.
