I have known of Gracie's Mission and the work they do to help animals for quite some time. I have attended their fundraisers and saw first hand their level of organization and diversity in reaching out to various communities. I recently volunteered to help at the 3rd Annual Dog Walk last September 25, 2011, and again saw the many animal lovers who attend and are involved with this non-profit organization.
I have met both founders and have found them to be of the highest character and commitment. Their web site shares the personal pet story that began Gracie's Mission so readers can connect at an emotional level, and they also include photos of medical treatments that have helped heal animals, like hydro-therapy and massage. Their case histories of those they have helped with financial assistance is growing as the word spreads about this very concerned and committed organization.
I am a dog lover and wish well-being for all creatures and know my connection to Gracie's Mission will continue into the future because this non-profit organization is truly worthy of existence and praise.
