children & family services builds strong families to help children grow in safe and loving families through a comprehensive range of services. Includes adoption, child & parent workshops, community education, family resource centers, foster care, parent aide and supervised visitation. 10,057 families were served in 2017. 98 children and children and adults with developmental disabilities were placed in 60 foster homes in 2017.
