My first time visit and was amazed how they communicate fluently in English. Atmosphere conducive and neat.

We have a good partnership with Arizona Russian Center for several months and will continue. They are very hospitable and supportive. They have a lot of events and activities for Russian Community. This center became a friendly home for many Russian speaking people. Many connections started in this Center. We are very appreciate them for help and support. This is a great organization. I'm not Russian and have only very limited Russian proficiency, yet I feel very welcome when I attend their events. Even though I didn't know anyone when I went for the first time, the folks were warm and I met some delightful people. I don't make it to all their events, but when I do, I thoroughly enjoy myself and feel like I'm part of their community even though I am just a newcomer. I think that anyone who wants to have more contact with another culture and language would enjoy the experience of coming to the ARC's parties.
I am also taking advantage of the Russian classes they offer. It's a long drive for me, yet worth it again because of the people and the sense of community. Russian's a difficult language to learn under the best of circumstances, so having a small class taught by a native speaker with other people who are also impassioned about learning the language is a plus.

As a non-Russian, I am very grateful to this center. They are warm and hospitable, and very helpful to those who want to learn about the Russian culture. They are a great resource to the Russians and Eastern Europeans in the valley. I have been attending their events since last Aug./Sept. and I always had a good time there. Every time I learned something new about Russia and her people. They have Russian classes and many other events that are fun and educational. They are helping me with my Russian. Their dinners/parties are great, and the events are very well organized. I know from my personal experience that they do a lot to help others in different ways. Thank you Arizona Russian Center.

This is a very good organization which promotes Russian culture and the Russian language in the Phoenix, Arizona area. The organization offers classes for learning or improving one's knowledge of Russian, special events to commemorate holidays or items of cultural interest, along with an ESL/Citizenship class. The organization is run by enthusiastic administrators and volunteers... there are some really great people there!

If I could I would give them -100 stars. Those guys who name them self as ARC are just scammers actually. Most of their events are just fakes, just a lot of bzzz but nothing was doing. Very small number of people, just very few, are taking risk to be in deal with them. Also I'm not sure but I've heard some of them are under criminal investigations.

Arizona Russian Center is a great resources for Russian Speaking people in Arizona, and the ESL and Citizenship classes are available for people of all levels. Have enjoyed the services and staff of this organization, and will go to their next event.

I had a great experience helping and volunteering with Arizona Russian Center. They are very fun! They are always trying to plan events to celebrate Russian holidays and set up all sorts of fun ways to bring the Russian culture into the area and share it with everyone through dances, dinner parties, and even dressing up as Russian characters and visiting schools and theater. Hopefully they will find a way to expand more int he future.

I participated in several events at the Arizona Russian Center and had an amazing experience! The energy is awesome; the people there are very friendly, and the environment there is very diverse which is plus! I learned a lot about the Russian culture and tradition(s). A great place to be!

Great organization, helped me to complete documentation for passport and organized sessions to receive the passport so we do not have to go to Sun Francisco twice. Saved me a lot of money. I also like this organization for the efforts to bring Russian culture through offering variety of activities for major Russian Holidays. It brings together people of different ethnic and religious back ground with the common interest/love for the former Soviet Union/Russian culture and language. I hope they continue their great work!

I have been a few times to Russian events, and always enjoyed the atmosphere, great food, and wonderful entertainment , thanks to Olga she is a great host.

Я была участником встречи сотрудников Российского Консульства 22 сентября.Встреча происходила в РЦА.В ходе встречи,все собравшиеся имели возможность пообщаться с представителями Консульства,задать вопросы и получить ответы на важные вопросы.В результате этой встречи,у меня были приняты документы на получение нового Российского Паспорта.Я очень благодарна РЦА и лично Ольге Шайхеевой за эту встречу и за всю ее работу.

На этой выездной сессии Консула Генконсульства России в Сан-Франциско 23 сентября, не смотря на предыдущие ограничения, прошёл приём документов у всех нуждающихся в оформлении паспортов РФ. То есть, людям не придётся ехать в Сан-Франциско и тратить большие деньги на этот излишне и искусственно усложнённый процесс. Great experience. The ARC is a pre-eminent, mobile and well operated center with an exclusive role of providing both Russian and Non-Russian speaking with a large number of useful and varied programs.
The staff of ARC are very kind, helpful, open-minded, easy to work with and very receptive to others needs.

I got to ARC's event on 03/09/2014 completely accidentally. Was invited by my friend after our church visit. This meeting left me very surprised by friendly and happy atmosphere. The Russian food was very tasty! I will be very interested to participate more.

I am preparing to participate at the Easter Tea party of Arizona Russian Center. This will be real celebration of Russian culture and language! I am pretty happy to help AZ Russian Center with their new project started this spring. Organization's first meeting was so welcoming, friendly and informative, that I decided to donate my time, professional help and money towards community services. World Heritage has high school students in need of host families for the 2013-2014 school year (semester stays are also available) who are excited to come to the USA!

i have gone to many of this organizations events and think that they are fun and enjoyable. Every event that i have been to was well put together and just amazing.

I have volunteered for this organization many times and it has been a wonderful experience that i will never forget. the experience you gain from volunteering is great.

If there is any organization out there who knows how to throw a great event, it is this one! I only recently discovered the Arizona Russian Center and decided to attend a few of their events and was shocked at how well they were put together and organized. Not only that, but they made it seem like the Russian culture had taken a vacation from Russia, and came here to Arizona in the form of the Arizona Russian Center! I recommend everyone to visit this organization.

I went to the new years celebration event held by the Arizona Russian Center and it was incredible! They really took their time and effort setting it all up so that it would be enjoyable to everyone. There was a patio outside where it was quite if anyone wished to go out, they had a great DJ playing a mix of Russian songs, they even had an act with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden! I did not see a single person leaving the event without a smile. Everyone had a great time, including myself.

I have attended event with Vladimir Sorokin, who traveled around the world on the bicycle. It was very interesting event that combined interesting travel stories of Vladimir with New Year celebration. Vladimir also was the Grandfather Frost who came to wish as the happy New Year. The event was very warm and interesting. This type of events bring close people, and provide opportunity for meeting the new people with the similar background and interests. I am looking forward to more of this kind of events. Thank you.

I went along with a friend to one of the events of the Arizona Russian Center and thought it was amazing! They had plenty of food and there was popular Russian music and everyone was having a great time. When the people began to walk onto the open dance floor to dance, they attempted to get everyone else to join them. My experience was quite fun.

What a fun to be at their events! I and my family were very surprised that ARC not asking much more higher donations or entrance price for all their parties. They doing amazing job, and making their events affordable to everyone, who interested to attend. They even inviting old people or veterans, or poor families for free! I would consider myself a general member of the public though I volunteered once for our Russian New Year party. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity for me to get together with Russian people that share the same culture with me. I would like to share my happy friendly experience with AZ Russian Center. In 2005 I attended picnic in the public park, hosted by this organization, and from that time I'm trying to be at every event they have. Most of the time I'm sponsoring some activity or just giving donation for ARC, and they always providing charitable donation receipt for my TAX deduction. I like them for responsible and professional understanding of non-profit, charitable operations.

I want to THANK! AZ Russian Center for help and introduction to Russian speaking community of AZ. They helped me to fined russian food in american stores, explained everything about live in Arizona and introduced me with russian speaking people in my area of living. They always were very friendly and helpful. I never had so professional, free and enthusiastic help before. Thanks, ARC!

Thanks AZ Russian Center for very good and fast help to my family! They helped my parents to apply for free government medical insurance and fined a good doctor in Phoenix Arizona. I called ARC from Germany, where I was at the time, and asked to help my parents with health insurance issue due to their poor health. Week after my phone call, my mom and dad got insurance and were able to get their medicine. Several more days later my parents were assigned to the great doctor! Olga and Elena helped with translation for them, and actually drove them to the doctor. Thanks ARC!

I would like to thank Olga and everyone else at the Russian Center for all of their help. My son was in an accident at the begining of the year and i didnt know what to do and had so many questions. I meet with Olga and she was very helpful throughout the whole process. She helped us find a doctor, helped with the insurance company and helped us find a lawyer for my son to file disability. Every time i had a question or needed help Olga was a phone call away and she was glad to help every time. It was a terrible thing that happened to my family, but Olga's help made it least painful and easier to get through. I would recomend her and the Russian Center to anyone who needs to have great people in their corner. Thank you again for everything Olga.

Arizona Russian Center ( ARC) has had a dynamic and rapid development as an organization, and has overcome many growing pains and personalities along the way. It has been very interesting and rewarding to be a part of this organization's administration, and to see the progress the staff and volunteers had made over the years. There is definitely a public need that was not being met, prior to this organization's involvement in this sector.

This is a great organization that helps many people! There are wonderful events and celebrations that take allot of time, work and planning to bring people together in new friendships and support. Allot of good is done through the Arizona Russian Center.

Me and my mom went to this event and it was awesome. I remember there was this magian and he did these awesome magic tricks. I liked the food there the sanwiches were amazing. I also liked that there was this little play that the kids did and then they got prizes. The music that they put on was good to. My experice was good and i thought they sould do more stuff like that again.

I am very proud to be able to work with Arizona Russian Center for all of you, Arizona citizens. Every participant, helper, volunteer, contractor or the guest of this unique charitable organization is excellent and positively oriented towards all of the traditions, cultural peculiarities and other languages of the people involved. I am very happy to share my knowledge of Russian language through the Arizona Russian News - newspaper, and at the same time to learn more about other cultures... This positive exchange of information is the best available for everyone and everyday experience given to us by Arizona Russian Center.

I came to Arizona from Russia in 2008. One of the many things I wanted to do when first arriving was to connect with the Russian community. I did an internet search on "Russians in Arizona" and the very first result was the Arizona Russian Center. I contacted them and was pleasantly surprised when they invited me to their next administrative meeting. My new friends were very open and friendly, and I immediately felt that if they needed my help I would be happy to help them and vice versa. The events I attended were very well organized with a Russian flavor in many respects. I was always happy to see that the Arizona Russian Center was a center of attraction for all kinds of people, with a firm motivation to build a strong community here. Every time I attended their events I saw Russian-speaking residents and American guests enjoying themselves. That's how I started to volunteer for the Arizona Russian Center as a journalist and an editor (I'm a journalist by training). It was always a pleasure to write articles about their events.

I participated at a New Year event held by the Arizona Russian Center, it was one of the best events that I was ever a part of. The experience and the opportunity was excellent, I had always dreamed of working with such a great team! I hope that I will be fortunate enough to work many more events and projects to come!

I attended an event that was held by the Arizona Russian Center and was pleasantly surprised by the warm friendly acceptance. I did not know anyone there and people happily translated the events for me.

I was involved in a car accident in February and did not know what to do. i called Olga and Art and they were very helpfull through the whole process. They recomended me what steps i needed to take, helped me find a great doctor and help answer any other questions I had. I meet with them many times and they were very kind and carind people, they took the time to explain everything to me and what my options were. After the accident and the next few months they called me to see how i was doing with my recovery and if I needed any help. My experience with SHIELD was exellent and I would recomend them to all of my friends.

I have attended more than one event with this organization and found it to be very rewarding to be able to work with such friendly and knowledgeable people. I can say that I is a pleasure getting to know the people at these events.

Я, Виктор , рад, что мне довелось сотрудничать с Русским центром. Это очень ответственная организация, старающаяся об'единить русскоговорящих резидентов проживающих в Аризоне. Я поддерживаю все программы, которые проводит в жизнь Русский центр Аризоны.

The Russian center is very well organized Organization. They have everything set up well in advance and there is no rush when it comes time to the events they have planned.

I am a recent immigrant from Russia and new to Phoenix. The Russian Center helped my to settle down and meet similar Russian friends that could share with me. I became more involved and contributed regularly to the Russian Newspaper. We also had fun meetings and lunch

This organization always tries it's hardest to do what they can to help people. I've helped out several times and am still surprised by how much this organization does.

Attended before one year, and was surprised by how fin and exciting everything was. The event was very well organized and exceeded my expectations while I was there.

My wife is from Russia, and I speak intermediate Russian and like Russian culture. We were new to Arizona and the Russian Center introduced us to new friends. My wife contributes articles to the newspaper.The Russian Center is an excellent resource for both immigrants and people interested in Russia. Apart from social advantages, the Center also provides advice on settling down in America, including immigration and work paperwork

Русский Центр Аризоны - уникальная организация, потому что в ней не делают разделения между разными народами, культурами, религиями или уровнями профессионализма участников. Любой человек может не только прийти на любое мероприятие, но и учавствовать в его подготовке. Никого не обидят и никому не откажут! Спасибо создателям Русского Центра за такой дружеский подход к деятельности данной организации!

A lot of people were talking to me about the Arizona Russian Center, so I decided I needed to check them out. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, and I learned a lot about Russian culture I had never known. I felt very welcome. I will be definitely attending their next event.

I have been impressed by the Arizona Russian Center’s events and services. I would like to see more events, more often. Last year’s picnic was so highly attended and welcoming, I really enjoyed myself. I wasn’t able to go the Russian new year’s evening party, but I heard it was even better than last year. It is already on my calendar for this year. I hope we have something else soon!

I’m so grateful for the Arizona Russian Center. It’s so comforting to know of a place I can go to get the help I need, and to just feel supported. I am very much looking forward to more of their events, I hope they have one soon. The last ones I went to were a fantastic time, I would recommend it to anyone. They really build a sense of community.

I attended an event hosted by The Arizona Russian Center, and it was simply lovely. I felt so welcome, and had such an interesting time. I think it is wonderful these events exist, and I understand the Center also provides many other helpful services. I applaud their efforts. I will be attending more events in future.

This organization is much needed in Arizona. This has proven to be a valuable group for many Russians as well as Americans. I have learned much about the Russian culture and have simply fell in love with it. This a well organized group with wonderful events that share the love of each individual involved. The Arizona Russian Art Center is amazing venue designed to keep the Russian community very well tight knit. This community is very welcoming not only to their culture but to other culture's in the state. I would definitely recommend a visit. :)

I am so glad to write review for Arizona Russian Center. They work very hard and do so much good. Their service is wonderful and important, and they have fun too. Their events are enjoyable and with good planning. I was able to go to the Russian New Year’s evening party, and was very impressed. Very much looking forward to more events like this one.

This is a much-needed service, and a well-appreciated organization. They are off to a great start and I can’t wait to watch them grow and expand. I think there are a lot of people who would benefit from these events, and especially the educational and other assistances provided. Everyone needs a support system. We need more organizations like this one. Last year they had a picnic celebrating the 100th anniversary of Russians in Arizona. It was a wonderful event, and so many people came. What a special day.

The Arizona Russian Center is a great help to the large Russian community in the area. There are quite a lot, and The Arizona Russian Center provides a way for us to get together and celebrate traditions, holidays, and events. I was impressed with how proactive the Center is in planning and hosting events, and they are getting better and better. I also appreciate that their events are a welcoming place for other community members to come and learn more about traditional Russian culture and language.

In my opinion Arizona Russian Center is still a very young and fast growing organization, which is providing very good quality charitable services for Russian speaking AZ citizens. Every time I went to their events, I saw progress in the quality. For example, each year their Russian New Year party brings more guests, sets up with more professional performers and more traditional types of treats. The last Russian New Year was so interesting and so well organized, that all the guests were happy like never before. Definitely I am going to their next event and especially - to their New Year!

In October 2011 they held a BBQ/Mixer. It was a great event and I had a great time. I met a lot of very nice people and the food was delicious. I spent a few years living and working in Moscow and the food at the BBQ was traditional Russian fare and reminded me of many meals I had eaten while in Russia. I can't wait for the next event hosted by this organization.

I attended an event that was held by the Arizona Russian Center and was pleasantly surprised by the warm friendly acceptance. I did not know anyone there and people happily translated the events for me. Everyone I met went out of their way to make me feel accepted and welcome. This event was a Christmas play and the costumes were magnificent. The traditional Russian food was wonderful and I highly recommend their events. There were people from all age groups and it was a wonderful example of diversity, culture and historical appreciation that included everyone there. I will definitely attend more of their events. Great place to socialize while meeting new people in a safe and pleasant environment.

I was pleasantly surprised by the efforts and friendliness that I saw at the event that was held by the Arizona Russian Center.
It was better than what I expected, since other Russian themed events of the past were awkward or way too old school like. I was invited in, and was seated next to a person who translated the event for me as it happened, the food was not limited, and the people were friendly, even if I did not know any of them there. I recommend their events and celebrations to anyone interested in Russian events in Arizona.
