Mission: Lutheran Association of Endowed Congregations,organized in 1999 when leaders from Lutheran congregations recognized a lack of resources available to congregations developing endowments. The LAEC provides a forum for congregations to assist each other in faithful stewardship of endowments by sharing information and expertise. The LAEC provides a network of professionals and congregations to assist others with issues related to governance, policies, administration, stewardship, marketing and growth of endowment funds. LAEC is the only association of congregations working on this issue among Lutherans. Member benefits include: biannual educational conference, regional chapters, and quarterly newsletters.
