Programs: Provides for implementation and development of a comprehensive workforce investment system program in the lower rio grande valley counties of hidalgo, starr and willacy. The program helps americans access the tools they need to manage their careers through information and high quality services and to help u. S. Companies find skilled workers. Customers served in hidalgo, willacy and starr counties equaled 72,510; employers served equaled 4,683. In addition, we assisted the texas attorney general in recovering $43,820,782 in back-owed child support payments since 2005 with $1,413,374 collected in the last non-custodial parent program performance period. Lrgvwdb served more than 11,396 children daily with child care, served 3,874 migrant and seasonal farm workers, and served 2,089 veterans.
