Programs: Joint convention with the southern district- professional meeting to enhanace field of health, physical education, recreation and dance in la schools & communities
officer/leadership travel to professional meetings of related organizations;enhance leadership skills by attending & participation in southern district & shape america regional/national meetings; represent louisiana in delegate assemblies and hperd sub-structures. (benefits approximately 30 professionals & 10 students)
tour de fitness- series of member-presented inservice workshops to schools districts requestion services. Members are reimbursed for presentation, travel, materials to make the presentation. Benefitted over 300 teachers and 8-10 school districts.
