I learned of Ron Grace "lost for a reason" signified by "bikers for Africa" group of Francesco Maglione, what I noticed was Ron's no-nonsense behavior, family man with a great sense of responsibility .... but the best thing was the results of their efforts, they talk with their hands, all sponsorship goes where it should be and see the results that are tangible ..... I try to show "Lost for a reasons" on the other side of the ocean

I was surfing on Youtube when I came across this awesome and very powerful video from Lost For A Reason...Being in the adventure motorcycle business meant that I'd no doubt sponsor this charity as Ron himself is an avid adventure rider as well and is doing a great cause.

I came across this charity through a motorcycle forum several years ago, since then I have been a regular purchaser of their fundraising items (although not regular enough). Lost For A Reason (LFAR) does fabulous work with a hands on crew, rather than just send money in the hope that it will help, they actually get in and do much of the work themselves. This fantastic organisation started with Ron Grace who has shown us all a valuable lesson in that one person can make a huge difference in helping the lives of many. Thanks to LFAR For all the wonderful work you do, from a man on a motorcycle in Tasmania Australia.

I support this charity because its a great cause and they run it in a great way, these guys and girls give to the cause themselves , they are not sitting back and delegating, they do they hard work, they make the big differences, i am Proud to call Ron Grace a friend, i met him a few years ago and am very happy i chose to follow how Lost for a Reason progresses. 100% plus time and labour go to this cause, they deserve their 5 stars, only wish i could give them 10.

I like the way Ron and the crew get involved. They are not afraid to get dirty and tired. They meet the needs of communities they serve in a very direct way

This is my first charity review and frankly the first charity I have felt compelled to support beyond a monetary donation. I will start with Ron Grace, the co founder and driving force behind this charity. I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some days with Ron in 2014. He is a compassionate, intelligent and humble man who recognized a need, and unlike so many before him, chose to do something about it. He will leave the world a better place for his efforts. The funds raised are designated to each "project" and the charities transparency allows anyone participating to monitor progress on a per goal basis. Resources collected go directly toward each goal or project, not to overhead costs. There is direct access to the founders and those who play a more involved role in the organization as volunteers. You see and work along side them at each project. Organizations that raise funds for research are important but the need for organizations that fill immediate needs are sorely lacking for those in our own country. This charity closes the gap and provides resources to those who need it most in an expedited manner. See a need, fulfill the need -- through donations, hands on labor and whatever it takes.

Lost for a Reason is a grassroots charity where 100% of fundraising goes into communities in need. I am proud to wear a Lost for a Reason tee shirt and help spread the word. Donations fund great projects like building play grounds, renovating domestic violence shelters, creating food and care packages for those in need.

After traveling to Kayenta last fall and seeing the need and then connecting with Ron Grace and Lost For A Reason, this is an organization of people who care about the Navajo people, especially the children. They lead by example and give of their personal time to help others. I'm proud to be a supporter.

From childhood days in boy scouts and rambling the hills of NE Kentucky, I have had a spiritual connection with Native American's. Several years participating and studying the history through Boy Scouts program Order of the Arrow solidified that bond. Fast forward several decades later and I find myself living in the glorious paradise of the great SW. My passion for riding a motorcycle into the still untouched and yet scenic majesty of the desert southwest blossomed into a love affair that Edward Abbey would be jealous. How could one not be emotionally, magically or spiritually connected to such raw and naked splendor inhabited by the fathers & mothers of our nation in this beautiful Native Country? How on earth can we not look at the conditions that our stewards and inhabitants of our mother earth now endure? How can we not want to help our brothers & sisters that live among us, in our country of America?

My connection to Lost For A Reason (LFAR) is a somewhat spiritual and karma guided self discovery. Of all non-profit organizations, LFAR is the only one that I know where greater than 100% proceeds go to the families in need in the 4 corner region, yet also reach to Africa and communities beyond. My meager involvement to date has rewarded me in more ways that could ever apply to a spreadsheet. Ron Grace, JJ Lewis and a large host of others are making significant & real time impacts to families and shelters that need something as simple as a swing set. I am proud to be here, honored to be a part of the team and willing to contribute in any way I can. Will you?

I took a trip to Kayenta, AZ with my mom, dad, son and nephews. We were there to help the Lost for a Reason crew do some work on a women & children's shelter. What an amazing experience. Knowing we may have made things a little more comfortable and pleasant for people suffering through an unimaginably tough time is a good feeling. I think it was a great experience for the boys. There was another crew doing much needed work on a family's home in the area. Thanks to JJ & family for your hospitality. Keep up the great work Ron & Mark! Proud to know ya! :), Angie
