Causes: Education
Mission: To provide educational development and quality of life assistance to individuals and families in need in the new mexico community. Assistance includes, but is not limited to, grants, scholarships, financial support, and maintenance for individuals and families who, without such assistance, would not be able to gain an education or trade, provide for the basic needs of their families, and become self-sufficient contributors to the community.
Programs: General assistance: new mexico families, individuals, or organizations in need of immediate financial assistance receive monies to cover a portion of rent, utility bills, daily essentials, or special activities. Number of persons benefited in 2017:57.
scholarships: new mexico students receive scholarships for either post-high school education or k-12 after-school or summer educational programs. Awards are based on financial need, school and community activities, and academic achievement. Number of persons benefited in 2017:26.
holiday baskets: northern new mexico families in need receive holiday dinner supplies and household staples. Number of persons benefited in 2017:350.
