Mission: To educate the public about scientific angling; promote interest and efficiency in tournament or contest fly and plug casting; to promote fisheries conservation
Programs: Provide free fly casting, fly tying and rod building classes for approximately 500 people in southern california. Free lectures provided to promote conservation activities. Volunteer activity includes cleaning rivers and terrain in the san gabriel mountain area of los angeles and hosting clinics for project healing waters, a program focusing upon wounded/injured veterans to aid in physical and emotional recovery through the practice of flyfishing
