I've volunteered with this organization and have a personal relationship with the founding team. Jonas and I were teammates and best friends, and I can't think of a better way for his family to honor his service than to serve the military community he loved.
TJP provides effective support to veteran entrepreneurs, empowering them to successfully execute new and challenging missions outside of the uniform and enabling them to create critical employment opportunities for their fellow veterans.
TJP is an outstanding team with an even more outstanding mission!
The Jonas Project has definitely exceeded my expectations for helping and honoring our service members.
As a veteran myself, I'm excited to see the awesome results other veterans are achieving. I'm proud to be working together with this nonprofit and provide increasing opportunities to them!
The Jonas Project provides a great service for veterans who want to start a new business by offering invaluable resources and mentorship to shepherd their ideas from vision to reality. This is a dedicated team that brings more than just business savvy to the table – they bring a deep commitment to helping those who have served in the military. The Jonas Project’s board, staff and mentors are uniquely qualified to offer support for veterans, as most have also spent time in uniform.
I have been involved with The Jonas Project for the past several years as a mentor and have yet to find a cause more rewarding and inspiring.
Our veterans have served us proudly, at the minimum it is our obligation to attempt to extend our best effort to repay them for the continued sacrifice and service.
The Jonas Project is truly one of the greatest resources and assets to our community and it is my hope to introduce as many individuals to this incredible organization and gift!
I was truly moved to meet John and learn about the impact the Jonas Project is making in the veteran community. The purpose-driven approach that they take is an inspiration and a wonderful example of what can be achieved when we embrace the responsibility we have to repay a debt to our military community that could never be fully repaid. BZ!
There is no question that we would not be in business were it not for TJP. The Kelsalls and their team have been an extraordinary source of support and insight as we launched our restaurant. TJP's team is the most dedicated, purpose driven organization that I have ever known.
I am a veteran and first time business owner. I have been working with TJP for over a year and could not be more impressed. From guidance on the business plan to assisting with build-out issues, marketing, pricing structure and strategy, TJP has been with me every step of the way. Always answering phone calls and returning emails regardless of time or day. I would not be in the position I am today without their leadership.
TJP is a great way for our veterans to be mentored in learning business skills and leadership. Our veterans are learning to pay it forward as their business becomes profitable with the full backing of The Jonas Project.
The Jonas Project exudes passion. Currently I have been volunteering at TJP, and likely similar to you I am busy. Therefore, I only want to spend my time with organizations that are going above and beyond and touching peoples lives. I've been fortunate enough to witness organization meetings, observe incredible stories of inspiration and seen with my own eyes the success that this program has with it's veteran owned businesses. Having volunteered elsewhere and being a veteran business owner myself, I would strongly encourage you to be involved in The Jonas Project. Whether you volunteer, learn more about their services, donate or simply share the resource with someone in need, you won't regret it.
I came on board with the Jonas Project in January of this year as a volunteer fellow through another non-profit called The Mission Continues. The work that is taking place here is centered on prospective veteran entrepreneurs - a cause I find very rewarding. I believe that The Jonas Project sets a great standard for what others should expect from a non-profit organization. I would recommend anyone interested in supporting small business development and the veteran community to get involved!
Great mission -- superb, dedicated staff. I'm honored to support TJP as a board member and would recommend them highly.
I have been involved with the Jonas Project for about two and a half years. During that time I have watched them grow and prosper because the message they carry and the service they provide to former service men and women is spot on. From inception they have continuously learned how to be a better organization and to translate that to practical applications. I proudly support them and their mission.

I am pleased, proud and honored to give The Jonas Project a 5 Star Review! I have served as a mentor with this wonderful nonprofit for the past 2 years. During that time, I have seen this extraordinary organization grow, both in terms of the level, quality and quantity of services offered to veteran owned businesses; and in terms of the remarkable prestige and recognition this charity has garnered in the business community by virtue of its hard work and superb results. I continue to be amazed at the dedication and commitment which everyone involved with The Jonas Project displays. And, frankly I don't think 5 stars is enough to appropriately recognize the great work The Jonas Project does everyday. But, I may be a bit bias ... who's to say?
The most dedicated and selfless non-profit organization I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They base all of their decisions on the well-being of their veterans. Amazing!
The Jonas project does more than just profide financial assistants like so many others, they help build dreams! These dreams are in the form of business's that stimulate the econemy and give back to those that have sacraficed so much for this Country... Our Vetrans!!
As an Air Force / Air Force Reserve veteran / retiree, I was honored to join with The Jonas Project team to provide support for entrepreneurial veterans. The level of heart and commitment put into the organization in support of our veterans by Teri and John is extraordinary. Top notch team who put veterans first - always!!
The Jonas Project is fantastic in directing Veterans who want to start a business but don't know how to do it. Their obstacle course gives the vet the tools needed to begin their journey to success. From the intricate business plan to proforma income statements, they map out a grid that is necessary for all businesses. The mentors are people who have experience in all fields and can guide their vets through the maze of a start up.
This is truly a worthwhile and well run 501C3.
I have been with TJP for coming up on 3 years now. Not only are they absolutely devoted to our vets, but they are extraordinary people in their own right. TJP is absolutely committed to doing the right thing...on an individual basis. I have the privilege of assisting with the Mentor program here at TJP (as a volunteer), and it is a highly satisfying endeavor thanks to the TJP team.

I volunteered to participate in The Jonas Project just over a year ago. It has been one of the more satisfying experiences in my life, paid or not. As a mentor I an given the opportunity to work with young entrepreneurs with a variety of business ideas, and from a variety of walks of life. In many cases their personal stories of overcoming adversity in defending our country are key to their decisions to start a business and the type of business they choose to invent. I always get more than I receive from these young men and women. The Jonas Project, Teri, John, Kim and David are extraordinarily committed to the success if their veterans, far beyond what I have found in other organizations. They always find a good news story. It is an honor and a privilege to be associated with this organization.
The Jonas Project is simply amazing. Supporting Vetpreneurs from A to Z in Business Development including website development, business plan development, capital raising, financial preparation. Some of our vetpreneurs are beginning to excel after only being in business for two years. Can wait to see this organization continue to grow and serve more vetpreneurs.
Our two executives are phenomenal and will go to the ends of the earth to serve our vetpreneurs if the vetpreneur makes a corresponding commitment to be a successful business person.
What an honor and privilege to serve on the BoD and to mentor a vetpreneur.
The Jonas Project does an outstanding job of supporting our aspiring Veteran Entrepreneurs for two years through mentors (65% are veterans themselves who have started a business) staff support, and assistance with obtaining funding if needed.
In today’s environment, it is an honor to have the opportunity to be associated with an Organization, like The Jonas Project. John and Teri Kelsall are fulfilling a need as we look to acclimate our Veterans into society; it is a debt we all owe our Soldiers, Airman, Sailors, and Marines, for the sacrifices they’ve made.
The Jonas Project connects our Veterans with Business Mentors, who work together is support of the Warrior Entrepreneur, in their quest to become the high-impact business leaders of tomorrow.
Through its efforts The Jonas Project is providing a sustainable solution which has the potential to impact us all; creating opportunity through the development of Small Businesses.
The Jonas Project is the perfect organization when it comes to helping our Veterans enter a career of business ownership. The project works with all branches of the military and I am happy to be a part of the Jonas Project as a recruiter within the insurance industry.
The Jonas Project is an outstanding organization that truly has a model for success to help veteran entrepreneurs develop from the ground up. It's been a pleasure getting to know more about the level of guidance they offer and the quality of service they provide through their organization.
The Jonas Project is a very worthwhile non profit providing a service for Veterans that is unique in the industry. They guide the Veteran through the terrible maize of starting a business and continue to advise that business to prosper to profitability. No other non profit does this kind of concentrated one on one that gives the veteran with a template of success. I have been a mentor and continue to enjoy my participation.

If I had to describe The Jonas Project in one word I would simply choose AMAZING! I am one of the Veteran Entrepreneurs supported by The Jonas Project and they have been nothing short of...well...amazing! They have been a huge support for me during the start up phase of my business venture. They are dedicated professionals, and they genuinely care about each of the Veterans they support. It is truly an honor to be given the opportunity to work with such a great organization.
it's no wonder this is such a worthy non-profit... The Kelsall's have a rich history of doing good and The Jonas project is no exception. Their unique service model is helping Veterans launch profitable businesses so that they can pay it forward and hire more vets.
I have served as a Mentor with the Jonas Project for over a year. The Jonas Project is a fantastic way to help America's veterans pair up with industry experts, whether they are veterans themselves, or just people who want to help veterans realize their goals of owning their own business. Mr. and Mrs. Kelsall, along with their daughter, are tireless in their efforts to make this a successful endeavor. Their energy flows into all aspects of the organization, and they are quite interested in the progress each Mentor and Mentee team have on their journey to business start-up, and ultimately success. I would strongly recommend all veteran's who need help starting a business to apply, and all volunteers, regardless of military service, who have a vested interest in seeing our nation's veterans transition to a successful civilian life as entrepreneurs!

I was asked to volunteer for this organization as they had no one else with experience in my area with my qualifications and agreed. I found the people involved, both leaders and mentors, to be passionate, well organized, and totally committed to helping returning veterans get a leg up in whatever field they desired. It's not a giveaway though, they want to help people to help themselves which I found admirable. My hope is that more veterans take advantage of all that they have to offer.
Returning veterans who are trying to make up for lost time need some assistance. The Jonas Project is dedicated to helping entrepreneurial veterans start and maintain a business. This is a unique organization that can make a big difference.
Through the use of mentors and some seed money, these new business owners are getting the help they need to be successful.
Please help support this fantastic organization.

Their blend of financing and mentoring means that those veterans who want to start a business have a much better chance of succeeding with their dreams. Veterans give up so much, a little boost can go a long way to help recover whatever losses they might have - from health to time.

The Jonas Project is dedicated to serving our veterans by helping them fulfill their dreams and bringing their business ideas to fruition. Their assistance is not simply limited to monetary support; they provide invaluable one-on-one mentorship and life skills coaching as well. I wish I had more time to donate to this amazing charity.
I consider myself a volunteer for The Jonas Project, in the manner of amplifying and sharing their message on social media as best as I can. The Jonas Project helps veteran entrepreneurs connect with professional mentors to develop their goals and realize their dreams. Helping veterans is a passion for The Jonas Project as it was founded in the memory and spirit of LCDR. (USN) Jonas Kelsall; who during his life helped, mentored, and loved his friends.
