Mission: Our churches may have a heart to want to make a difference, but few have had experience in prison ministry or training for such a ministry. There is a need for education on how to deal with being a victim of crime, and how to deal with those within the church who are incarcerated, or have family members that are in prison. We know Jesus had a heart for those in prison. Let us go to scripture: MT 25:34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' Living Stone and individual churches can face the question as believers of how to cooperate as the body of Christ to do our part for those who face this historic problem. Living Stone would like to help you and your church understand how to respond in love to this challenge.
