Jerichofoundation.org has changed my life, these people work so hard to help the disadvantaged people of Bosnia.
My wife and I have been supporters of the Jericho Foundation for many years. My wife, Kim,and daughter, Sarah, travelled with the Jericho team to Bosnia in 2015, and I have travelled with the team the past three years. The "Hope"to build a future in their own community/country, is what I see the Jericho Foundation providing to students in Bosnia, and it inspires me. Being fortunate enough to be a member of the Jericho Team, I have had many personal conversations with the students, and have heard their hope as they talk of their future.
Kim and I also had the pleasure to host Doris , a Jericho intern, this past summer. We were so honored to share this time with Doris, and enjoyed hearing her talk about her amazing experience at Bronson Hospital.
I've been a monthly donor for several years and had the opportunity to go on a Jericho Project Hope trip, which changed my life. The Jericho Foundation is an amazing organization that is making a serious impact in the re-growth of Bosnia by uplifting and empowering the youth. They truly understand that in order to create a generational change, you must build a foundation of trust and love. Jericho Foundation is not just a non-profit providing opportunities, it is a family to everyone involved. Jericho has been around long enough for things to come full circle, students I met on the project hope trip have graduated and gone out into the working world and are now donors themselves. Now that is something amazing to see and experience. Keep up all the amazing work!
Fabulous Organization! I have only just started my involvement with Jericho and I am incredibly impressed. These students are inspiring - it has been such a joy to interact with them. Jericho is true to their mission and cares for the students like you would not believe! 5 stars without question!!
I have gone on 3 Hope trips with the Jericho Foundation to Bosnia and that have been life changing for me. I love the mission of Jericho, that if you give a young adult an education then you empower them to make changes in there own life, family and country. Its not a hand out, its something these kids work really hard for! I have been a donor for 10 + years and I will continue to be. I am proud to be apart of a life changing non-profit.
I am consistently impressed with this organization! They have a clearly defined vision and they are committed to the students in the program in a way that extends far beyond a scholarship. They are fiscally responsible with the donors gifts and I have seen and heard firsthand how the students, and their families are being empowered!
I first heard of Jericho several years ago. slowly, as I learned more about the foundation, began participating in fundraisers. I was impressed with the mission of not only providing money for education, but building relationships and helping the students with developing life skills. Today I work part time with Jericho and serve on the board. I am more impressed every day with the Director, my fellow board members, our program director and the volunteers who take every decision as seriously as if they were making it for their own children.
I happened to know few people who were Jericho scholarship recipients. Today they are all successful, positive and self-confident individuals and they all agree that non of that would be possible without Jericho. Jericho Foundation's work is really making difference in peoples lives. It is a reminder that there is always hope and good in this world. Thank you, Jericho!
Jericho Foundation supported me during my 4 years of studies at University of Sarajevo and becoming on what currently I am. Support of the Jericho Foundation isn't just finnancial but also emotional where they are always there for a talk when you need, encouragement and support in every step during college. It feels more like family not just Foundation.
Even though that I finished my studies almost 5 years ago, I still feel as part of the family.
Iv had the great opportunity to be involved with Jericho Foundation since a young age. I was able to go on my first Jericho Project Hope trip to Bosnia a year after high school(2009) and a second the year after. The connections I made still exists along with a lasting positive impact on my own life. I felt called to continue to support and became a monthly donor which I still am today. Jericho is focused and puts their students and other members their life first. I firmly believe they put every dollar and effort in the right direction to not only support an individual but also their families. Jericho knows community, family, and love come first.....which allows people to feel secure and blossom into their full potential. This is one of the main reasons I am and will continue to be a supporter of Jericho and the people they help.
I have had the opportunity to work with Jericho for the past 5 years. They are an incredible organization, not only going above and beyond to serve their mission, but creating a meaningful and effective donor/service experience for everyone involved. They are impacting their target group in Bosnia while impacting those they allow to be a part of it in the United States. We appreciate their work and heart for the cause.
I was Jericho scholarship recipient and I feel some words that describe Jericho foundation well. They are warm, caring, helpful, optimistic, helpful, trustworthy but then I also like to think they are hard-working and very practical. Love you so much, you are amazing.
I first experienced the "family" of Jericho personally in the fall of 2014 where I was involved in the leadership seminar in Mostar! The students of Bosnia are so appreciative of their education and are eager to learn and connect with the Jericho team. Relationships are ongoing and provide the students with hope and confidence in their future and in their countries future. A team is also sent to the orphanage in Bosnia every year to provide love and support to the children and to teach them about their opportunity for an education in their future....hope!!!! There are so many amazing volunteers and staff and board members that have been a part of the Jericho family for many years! I am so impressed with how these people walk the talk showing Christ's love in so many ways. The Jericho foundation rocks!!!
My wife and I have been involved with the Jericho Foundation for about 6 years, first as donors, then as speakers/mentors at the Student Leadership Seminar held annually in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the latter role, we have been able to witness first hand how the individual lives of the scholarship recipient students have been positively impacted by Jericho's influence.
In addition, one of the blessings we have received from our work with Jericho is the personal relationships we have been able to develop with a number of the students, so we have been able to see their desire and drive to be change-makers in their still war-devastated homeland.
Be someone who makes a difference in the world! The Jericho Foundation is a group of individuals who seek to emotionally, spiritually, and financially support students seeking a college education to better their lives and change their country. The foundation also seeks to provide mentoring and medical aid to those who have not been as blessed as we are in the United States. Be a part of an organization that is making a real difference. Your support will provide life altering change to others. Supporting this organization means knowing you have truly "Loved one another". Cathy Shinabarger, former Jericho Foundation Board Member
This organization has a true passion and heart for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their belief in empowering all to gain access to education and producing strong community leaders is unmatched. I am thankful for the work they do, thank you Jericho!
I have been a donor to the Jericho Foundation for a year and a half. I had heard about the amazing work they were doing and wanted to be a part of it. I had the privilege of traveling to Bosnia and Herzegovina to work with the college students at one of the leadership seminars. I can say, first hand, that the money donated has a direct impact on these student's lives. There is no one more deserving of support. Students are changing entire family legacies by attending college and blazing the trail for a brighter future.
As a long time donor of over 15 years the Jericho Foundation has made dramatic and positive change in the lives of children and families in Bosnia. Their focus and mission has always stayed on target in utilizing funds and serving the people of BIH. Of all the charities I have donated to, this organization is the one I see the most direct results in the fulfillment of its mission
I am Jericho scholarship recipient. Without Jericho's help I couldn't imagine my future and the moment I am living right now. I couldn't count on my parents' and older brother's help. They couldn't find a job and living in situation like that is sometimes very hard to imagine. My mother and father have only the primary school and brother has high school education. My mum had a cancer and she wasn't been able to pay the drugs and medical treatment. Because of Jericho's support I will be able to help my family I will find a job and become a successfull person who will stay in Bosnia and restore the hope in my country.
I have been involved with The Jericho Foundation for about 5 years as a donor and traveling to Bosnia and Herzegovina to volunteer. These trips are so life changing and have given me the opportunity to make lifetime lasting relationships with these amzaing kids. This organization does exactly what it says it going to do, give hope to the children in Bosnia and Herzegovina that would not otherwise have it.
I've seen first hand what The Jericho Foundation does. Every penny donated provides for the education and well being of the children in Bosnia. I've been present for the tears of thankfulness of those kids who received that otherwise have nothing. They are the real deal & there is no better way to invest than a child.
