Causes: Arts & Culture, Radio
Mission: Live wire's mission is to harness the intimacy of live theater and the power of public airwaves to enliven, inspire and engage audiences connecting communities through live music, unpredictable conversation and original comedy.
Programs: Live wire airs on 125 public radio stations across the country and is distributed by public radio international (pri). During 2017, we added 15 new stations and produced a total of 23 live shows in portland and on the road. Our traveling shows brought us back to seattle and chicago, as well as to new cities including pendleton, oregon and salt lake city.
