Mission: Oasis was founded in 1972 by the local community spearheaded by the Beltsville Rotary Club who wanted to establish a place for children and adolescents to get the help they needed. The mission of the Oasis is delinquency prevention, youth development, and family preservation.
Programs: Oasis provides family counseling, individual counseling, substance abuse assessment and referral, suicide prevention, crisis intervention, information and referral. Depending on available resources, Oasis has also provided parenting classes, anger management groups, psychological evaluation, and in-home intervention.
