Causes: Community Health Systems, Health
Mission: To conceive and launch new and innovative healthcare services, care models, clinical pathways and products to accelerate healthcare transformation, promote and enhance quality and efficiency, and better meet the healthcare needs of the community; to deploy state-of-the art healthcare technology to transform healthcare delivery and better meet the needs of the community; to cultivate an environment of learning and creativity; and to serve as a catalyst for the development of innovation as a core competency, all in support of and in furtherance of the section 501(c)(3) purposes and mission of the lancaster general health system.
Programs: Supports members of the healthcare system by promoting, sponsoring, and facilitating the development of new, innovative healthcare services and programs. It is dedicated to the cultivation of new innovative ideas, the development of innovative tools and processes, and the promotion of a culture of creativity, meaningful risk-taking, and growth for the benefit of lancaster general health and its affiliates. Potential innovation programs are categorized into four primary sub-portfolios: technology solutions & services, consumer access and navigation solutions, chronic care solutions, and anywhere care, i. E. , new alternatives to care delivery that are primarily outside institutional settings. The portfolios are intended to advance the vision of lancaster general health, concentrating on novel strategies to transform the care delivery system and promote organizational sustainability.
