I love that Lancaster Creative Reuse exists! They are providing a great service by providing supplies and resources that encourage creativity in our communities. I have donated and also purchased supplies from them. There is a huge variety if items to choose from, so I can always find something for any project I happen to be working on. I also love that they recognize and share creations made by the children that visit. I hope they continue to grow and to inspire kids and adults alike to keep creating!

My besties and I stop in often. Most of our holiday gifts will be made from things we’ve bought from LCR.

First of all, my sewing group at church has always been able to find everything they need for sewing and craft projects. They seem to have everything one could think of and some days, things that you do not think of but find you need. And we have also been able to give back. I am in the process of moving and had lots and lots of things I did not want to pay to move to my new home. The folks there took in everything I brought to them and were genuinely excited about all of the wonderful things I was taking to them. Either way, Lancaster Creative Reuse provides many crafting and sewing items very cheaply while keeping the things they sell from ending up in the dump. It is a WIN/WIN!!!

This is the BEST place to get Crafts, Decorations, Material, Flowers, etc... The staff is friendly, and very helpful. I love the fact that they do craft lessons for the children! Who knows what it will inspire in their life! They could become anything from an artist, to a designer. And the fact that it is all reuse is wonderful, the old, becoming to life again, still having a purpose. Thank you to all that work here, you are an inspiration tp many!

I always find the most perfect items to start or finish a project... with costing an arm and a leg! The staff is always kind and helpful. If I lived closer I would be in real trouble! LOL Just one visit and you'll be hooked too!
In the photos I had the bird and an idea, Lancaster creative reuse had the rest! Thanks for helping me pull off this amazing 3D card for pennies!

I first found this place when looking for tiles to make coasters. Then I cleaned out my stash of odds and ends from my girls school projects and donated to the shop. I've been there looking for fabric, yarn.....the list goes on. I have even found unexpected treasures. I love the staff--they are always so friendly.

This place has anything and everything for crafting needs. I love to take my kid here so that she can craft to her heart's content without breaking the bank. A while back I needed pink thread to repair her tutu and was able to purchase a partially used spool for only a quarter. After using what I needed, I then was able to donate it back to Lancaster Creative Reuse to cut down on my own clutter.

I live almost an hour away but will drive the distance to support this place. They truly have the kindest staff. I have purchased so many things for my home here and I love that I'm also supporting my local community in doing so.

We absolutely love Lancaster Creative Reuse! For my craft loving daughter- she begs to go to this store to find new items for crafting. We love the affordability of this store- and that we are able to use items someone else no longer needs- maybe a opened package of stickers, cards or paints, a lightly used stamp set or a opened package of construction paper. Thank you LCR for providing such a wonderful store to our community!

I am a mixed media artist, who loves to use recycled materials. Since I’m single, it would take me forever to collect enough bottle caps, pill bottles, etc. to finish a whole piece (and by the time I did, I’d forget why I was collecting them). LCR has been a godsend when I’ve downsized, changed craft focus, or bought too many supplies. It’s also wonderful if you want to try something out before committing to it.

This is such a great resource for affordable craft supplies for the community. The supplies are well organized and it is wonderful how they feature reusable supplies, rather than perpetuating waste products. I have done children’s community events and LCR has been my first go to for keeping costs down and creativity flowing.

Went in the store just to donate some unused craft items, having heard about them from a family member and via Facebook. Staff was so nice, and so grateful for what I brought. Such a different response than taking things to Goodwill! I know that LCR will put these items to good use, either in a class situation or by providing them at a more-than-reasonable cost for purchase. Walked out of there with supplies for my new projects at far less than I would have spent at the craft store. Although it's about an hour away from my home, I'll be returning there frequently to donate and to restock!

The best selection and pricing anywhere! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Wish there was a store closer to where I live, Manheim. Well worth the trip.

This is an excellent thrift store for arts and crafts. I always find plenty of of supplies. I love that they are second hand supplies and that all of my projects are used with thrift materials.

There are so many useful things there, I could get into trouble if I lived closer. Whether you sew or craft, this place has so many things it's hard not to leave all your money there. I love their fabric selections, everything from pieces, yardage, upholstery samples which are great for tote bags, to threads and other sewing notions. When we get through sorting my mom's sewing notions and craft items, I'll be dropping off a box of things for someone else to start their own crafting/sewing habit!

Love this place! I donate often and then leave with some wonderful things. I hate seeing things go to the landfill that can be repurposed and they are showing what can be done to accomplish this. I always find something i can use or repurpose. I keep a bag handy at home to put things in to donate to them, things i would have probably thrown away. I know someone will find a use for them there! Thumbs up!

LCR is an amazing resource for my small daycare and Girl Scout troop. I take our extra craft supplies to them, and purchase items that others have donated for upcoming crafts. Their prices are very affordable, and staff people are very nice!

What can I say about this place besides the fact that I’m In LOVE !!!

I’m an avid bounder/cosplayer and I get many of my supplies for creating from LCR. All photos shown below include pieces I have made from materials found at this “shop”.

The staff is great and so are the prices, you’ll never know what you will find!

Lancaster Creative Reuse is a fabulous spot for a creative person to browse and for an educator to find supplies.

It’s also a great place to take donations of any art/craft/office supplies no longer wanted or needed in your space.
If you have items “someone could make something out of” and you realize that someone will not be you, LCR is the place to donate them.

The staff is always friendly and the displays and inventory are changed often. There are sections for various arts and crafts, with a whole room of paper, stamping & office related supplies & a whole room of fabric, notions & sewing-related items.

I was an LCR customer first & spent so much time there that I was able to help other customers find stuff. That’s when I realized volunteering would be a great idea! Volunteer hours are flexible and the tasks vary as much as their inventory. Here is my blog post about it! http://artistsofallstripes.blogspot.com/2013/05/its-official-im-volunteering-at.html?m=1

This organization with its store has a significantly large inventory of hobby and craft supplies of every description. They are available to the retail market for a dime on the dollar so to speak.

Still more impressive, they are available for FREE to all NGO’s who want to provide activities to the young and old alike. The range is so wide: schools, adult and children’s clubs, rec centers, nursing homes, orphanages, etc.

LCR is a useful and needed resource for the entire community.

Lancaster Creative Reuse is my go to arts, crafts and sewing supplies store. I love hunting for vintage fabrics and trims. I love getting bargain prices on sewing tread and binding. Recently I bought BEAUTIFUL lambswool yarn that will become my favorite sweater for a fraction of the retail price. Inventory is well-organized and staff is readily available to answer any questions. When my home is overflowing with arts and crafts supplies it's nice to know where to donate them. I appreciate their emphasis on environmentally friendly practices and their support of other local non-profits. Every trip is an adventure!

I absolutely LOVE the creative reuse. I am particularly enthusiastic about embroidery and sewing, which can traditionally be a bit expensive when having to buy from a big craft store. The reuse ALWAYS has amazing fabrics and so many wonderful embroidery supplies, including interesting hoops and any color floss you could want. The staff is so friendly and it allows me to be creative and helps me fill my days with things that bring me joy. I wouldn’t be able to do half of what I do without the reuse, so I am very thankful for the work they do.
