Through the practice of these service lines we help to restore, maintain and improve the health of the people in the communities that we serve; this is the lgmc's mission which we fully support.

neuroscience center of acadiana partnered with the alzheimer's association to host the acadiana alzheimer's symposium. The guest speakers shared what is behind the diagnosis, current research, and how to brave the difficult dementia conversations, such as going to the doctor, driving, and long term planning. Plastic and reconstructive surgery of acadiana had a booth at the breast symposium in support of breast cancer survivors. Dr. Lupo and dr. Fontenot were in attendance to speak with breast cancer patients about reconstructive surgery options.
