Mission: The Kilung Foundation's purpose is to promote the spread of Tibetan Buddhism by supporting the work of H.E. Dza Kilung Tulku Jigme Rinpoche, the fifth incarnation of Jigme Ngotsar Gyatso of Dzachuka, Kham, in east Tibet. The scope of Rinpoche's work includes overseeing and rebuilding the 18th century Kilung Monastery in Dzachuka, and answering the call to teach Buddhism in the West and other parts of Asia. Additionally, the Foundation supports community projects in Dzachuka, such as schools for nomad children, building a bridge, disaster relief.
