Mission: The mission of the first tee of central florida is to positively impact the lives of central florida youth by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
Programs: The organization aims to make the game of golf affordable and accessible to young people of all backgrounds and to impart the values of character, life skills, and healthy habits inherent in the game. We deliver youth development programs in the form of outreach and certifying classes. More than 100,000 youth participated in our outreach programs and 495 youth participated in our certifying clases in 2017, an increase of 7%. More than 45% were of diverse backgrounds and more than 33% were female.
