Causes: Labor Unions
Mission: The association helps with contract negotiation and member grievances throughout the year. The association board members meet every month to assess the health and status of the association members.
Programs: There were several bereavements that were paid to the association members. Also this year triggered the "opt-out" program due to state law so the members had the choice of opting out of the association and one member did opt out. The membership continues to increase after the early retirement incentive took place in 2012.
