Medical adult day programs are for individuals with chronic health conditions. These programs offer ongoing healthcare services and coordination with personal physicians, nutritious meals along with daily programs and activities. The program is staffed by skilled nurses, licensed social workers, registered dietitians, recreation therapists, physical, occupational and speech therapists along with certified nursing assistants that provide help with personal needs. Telehealth kiosks are used to help clients monitor their personal health indicators, educate them about important issues such as weight and nutrition, medication management and blood pressure and to provide early detection of symptoms.
