Jill has identified a real need/ gap in our education system. She has found a sustainable, repeatable model that already has, and will have incredible impact on kids, their families and our communities. It's impressive to see the compassion, knowledge and business acumen being applied to this organization.
The Inspired Community project will impact so many lives that wouldn't have access to such services otherwise. I am a huge supporter of this organization.
Jill and I worked together for several years while she was a teacher of special education and I was a school psychologist in Brooklyn. And during those years, she impressed me as a dedicated and serious educator. So, it was no surprise to me that she would eventually choose to set up a community-based organization to help young children with disabilities. What WAS surprising, however, was that she would have the foresight to also make her organization a 'training site' for would-be special educators. This just further illustrates Jill's level of caring -- not just for the children with disabilities, but also for the adults hired to work with them.
This community project has helped children in a variety of different ways, also allowing families to be able to connect with there children on different levels. In the vast goals that this organization has, one of the biggest is to help families understand that help is here!!we can be a solution to not all but some of the problems going on at home, also that they are not alone in this fight to make the community better , bigger, and stronger.
Very strong leader with clear sense of direction and passion for the community. Experienced team opening the school with a strong foundation. TICP will soar!
The Inspired Community Project provides a critical service to our local communities and the families within them. The passion that Jillian and her team have for the mission and for supporting children and their development is remarkable, and will leave a lasting impact on those that they serve!
I'm thrilled to be volunteering with The Inspired Community Project and especially to be a part of such a vital cause as they launch their kickoff. Their mission is so important and true to their name, I think they are going to inspire great things and accomplish so much.
I am a volunteer with the inspired community project and It is an amazing experience. I know they are going to do great things and I am honored to be a part of their project
If you’ve ever tried to navigate accessing special education resources for your child in NYC you know it’s a commitment of time and energy with frustrations around every corner. And that’s coming from the perspective of a parents with resources, support and time. I joined the Board of The Inspired Community Project because parents of all backgrounds and situations deserve quality intervention services for their children. Every child deserves the building blocks to grow and thrive, and this initiative aims to provide those building blocks in an innovative community-driven model.
I’ve known Jill Moses, for over 2 years and I can’t thank her enough for her enormous support as my direct supervisor. Her support was so gratifying. Mrs. Moses’ position was highly demanding and she often had a lot on her plate which kept her tied up for the most part. Through it all, she found time to meet with me as much as she possibly could. Even if it meant changing her schedule around just to give me that individual time. When I struggled she’s was there to encourage me, when I became doubtful she inspired me and guided me along the right path. Her insights were valuable. Today she is still highly appreciated. I will always be indebted to her for being there with her time.
I had the pleasure of working with Jill in a professional capacity at another company. During my experience with her as my direct supervisor I received contious support and mentorship. I believe that the Inspired Community Project will benefit greatly from such a dignified, dedicated and inspiring leader!
I have known the founder Jill Moses for over five years. She has dedicated her career to improving the lives of families and children with Special Needs. I am genuinely honored she asked me to join her in this venture. TICP will uplift the Bronx community by providing Early Invention Services, Parent Advocacy, Specialized Training, and creating local Community Partnerships. I am very proud to be a part of an organization that wants to make a long-lasting change.
The Inspired Community Project is just what the Bronx community needs. The professionals putting this together are passionate about helping children, but also involving their families and including the community as a whole.
From founder Jillian Moses to all the volunteers, all are competent and compassionate in their desire to make this Early Intervention Program be of benefit to all in the Bronx community.
This is an amazing non profit organization. Having Jill Moses as the President/CEO , best beleive there will be thriving . She was my supervisor and with her I have grown in so many levels as a professional . You can forsee resources and the highest professionalism from her .
I have been volunteering for this charity for some time. I am moved by their mission in reducing the service gap for children and families with autism in the Bronx - a typically underserved community. Their fully integrated approach in helping families as well as children is innovative and will change so many lives.
Having worked with many of the people on the board of this charity, I know that their drive to provide services to all those who need it will ensure the quality of services that children deserve. They are also a group of people who recognize, and embody, a people first ethos; they know that when people feel valued, and respected they will be more productive for them self, and the people that they are providing services for.
I have known and worked alongside Jill for 15 years. When I heard that she was starting a nonprofit, I was over the moon and an immediate “Yes!” to whatever followed. I am choosing to be a part of The Inspired Community Project because I whole heartedly believe in its mission. As an educator myself, I want to help in any way I can to bring quality early intervention services to underserved communities. TICP’s mission to do just that, in addition to creating employment opportunities for these communities and providing parents and families with invaluable tools that they will take with them once they leave TICP’s doors, makes this nonprofit all the more exciting! I am lucky to be a part of this mission and look forward to all that is to follow!
