Causes: Federated Giving Programs, Philanthropy
Mission: To assure the building and strengthening of the jewish community locally, nationally, overseas and in israel, in accordance with jewish values.
Programs: Grants and allocations to supported agencies: connects a diversity of humanitarian programs linking people who need help with those who can provide it. Through the allocation of funds contributed by thousands of generous donors, we forge a connection that saves and enriches lives.
community relations and community planning: promotes communication within the jewish community and others as well as within the federation and it's constituent agencies.
community engagement: support for a myriad of programs that help strengthen jewish identity, culture and community including programs for seniors, children, families, young adults and newcomers, scholarships for educational opportunities, community enrichment programs, support for teen programs in israel, leadership development programs and future planning and coordination of the jewish community.
