Mission: To empower students in the inwood and washington heights areas of new york city to become agents for change through community-focused leadership, character development, and college preparedness.
Programs: Inwood academy for leadership's academic program is designed to inspire students' intellectual curiosity and confidence. Our program utilizes the core knowledge program to pair content knowledge with skills development. All inwood academy for leadership scholars take classes in four core subjects - english language arts, science, social studies and mathematics - as well as art, spanish, music, writing, physical education and health.
