Mission: To support the highest standards of health for newborns, children and adolescents in all countries of the world by working with pediatric societies in promoting physical, mental and social health.
Programs: To facilitate capacity building in the pediatric care of syrian refugee children, a workshop was held with nearly two hundred pediatricians, nurses and other health care workers. In addition to discussions onthe adverse risks syrian refugee children face of displacement and conflict, attention was also given to the remediation, treatment and prevention of these threats to mental health.
