Mission: To promote and provide support for the establishment and continuation of burn treatment centers and their related purposes of burn-injury related research and burn prevention through education. The foundation has also established an annual burn survivor camp, which provides direct outreah to burn victims.
Programs: Fema/usfa fire prevention and public education grant - to broaden the funding of burn research in order to significantly improve the treatment of burn injuries, developing new pain management techniques, and improving the quality of life for burn survivors so they can return to a normal existence. This program is now being facilitated by the iaff foundation.
national children's burn camp - outreach program designed to assist children to overcome physcial and psychological afflictions caused from burn injury. The seven day program was held in washington, dc and cared for more than forty burn survivors and their fire fighter chaperones. This camp is now being administered by the iaff foundation.
