Causes: Amateur Sports, Sports
Mission: The association was incorporated under the laws of the state of missouri 8/11/97 to teach and educate amateur youth about playing junior olympic and olympic level competitive sports - primarily fast pitch softball & baseball.
Programs: During the 12 months ended 9/30/17, the association supported a girls 18u fastpitch softball team serving 14 girls in the st. Louis, mo. Area. The team played about 80 competitive games including nationals at season's end.
the team volunteered to fill oatmeal bags for a food pantry located in jefferson city, mo. That was in need of food. Parents paid for and supplied all of the ingredients for the oatmeal food bags. Players were awarded 2 hours of community service for the efforts assembling food bags for the needy.
the parents and players proudly carried on the organization's inspired tradition as a member of the "st. Louis softball hall of fame" as represented by its "jim farrell award of excellence".
coaches and players contributed to an "adopt a family" program for the 2016 christmas holiday. All of our members contributed to a cash fund that was used to buy christmaspresents for a needy family.
