Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Emergency Assistance, Food, Food Banks & Pantries, Human Services, Senior Centers, Seniors

Mission: Seniors with Dignity Resource Center, Inc., founded January 1, 1999, was formed to provide a membership network of Business Professionals, which would work cohesively in order to provide exceptional quality service, at a discounted rate, to senior citizens age 50 and above, with the seniors satisfaction guaranteed. Also, the Telephone Reassurance Program was implemented, which consists of Senior volunteers, which currently number 47, ages 50 to 85, contacting other seniors on a weekly basis to make sure they're doing fine and are not in need of anything. Our goal is to eliminate cases of seniors being abused and taken advantage of, as well as being found days or weeks later, injured and/or deceased in their homes. In our mission, we sustain weekly contacts with as many seniors as possible, whom otherwise have no one readily available on a continuing basis, to stay in contact with. We encourage churches, businesses and communities to work together with us to meet our senior Citizens needs.
